I think the link buds are totally worth the price and how the case is built is a huge win for me .I just lost my other airpod after the case fell plus the airpod case opens up to easily make the screws to loosely

Have used these for some days now. I put them in my ears around 10am and take them out around 4pm. Not sore, not falling out. Not in use all the time but I can leave them in while not using them. Last for my day. Happy customer so far

I believe Sony or Pioneer (but want to say it was sony cuz they look extremely similar) experimented with this type of earbuds over 10 years ago back when they were connected with cables. I bought them for active wear to be able to hear my surroundings. Your description of how trippy yet enjoyable they are would be how I would describe the others. Long story short mine got damaged and I kept looking for a replacement for them for years but could not find them again. Because they are ventilated my ears would never get hot and I could wear them for hours. If they were 120-140 I would be all over them, at 180 I hesitate.
Yeah being $180 is a bad pricing on Sony parable that kind of always been Sony problem but luckily you can get them on eBay refurbished for 70 to 80 bucks that's what I did

Cuz I've already got a pair of Sony headphones with ANC for listening at home and while studying, and I'm sure any buds won't perform as well sound-wise. Is that a good reason for getting these, just for on-the-go listening and maybe working out?
I bought these because of the open back and the fact that I’m sick of itchy ears! I have 4 pair all different uses. I had Apple but sent them back because they kept falling out. I think that is why they came back with the S with noise cancellation. Sound to me the support to air pods. The Jabra 8 active wins it all, if you like sweaty itchy ears.
I have a pair of these and a pair Jaybird Run XT, The Linkbuds are better for using at the office and watching TH-cam videos(No Sound Lag). I like my Jaybirds better for listening to music.
I really want to know if this linkbuds is best for helmets. It seems promising with its open form factor and being flash with your ears. Its just too expensive to buy for me.
I'm going to disagree here, the case might be my favorite out of all my earbuds, I've dropped my airpods and beats studio buds multiple times and the earbuds always rocket off in different directions, I'm very glad I won't have an issue with these, I'm using the small ear tips, definitely finicky to put in
Can't really compare apples earphones cause it still goes in the ears like traditional earphones before in ears were a thing. It's better if you tested with open ear like bone conduction. Only because they aren't in your ears like traditional earphones, in ear earphones and not a pair of studio or gaming headset
I bought these strictly for driving. Ambient mode distorts sound, which is important for driving. I also didnt want to blast music while my window was down. This is that nice compromise where i can have music and still be aware of my surroundings and not obnoxiously make people in traffic listen to Mos Def with me

However, after the first part of your vid about the case, I'm just sad. It's 2022 and if there is a design team out there that makes such a terrible case, I won't trust them in any other aspect at all... C'mon Sony. Thanks for the good vid btw.
The case is not as bad as he showed. I have never one hand flicked open any Bluetooth ever. From my Airpods, Galaxy buds or Samsung's. Never have I played the single hand open. And even if I did... I would still need the other hand to take out the Bluetooth. I thought that the test was kinda shading considering that fact. Secondly the price has been cut pretty hard now especially since they released the Link buds S. You can get these new for about 120... And refurbished for significantly cheaper nearly 60

These will work, and they do have bass not alot but it's there. But beware if you do buy these they are master and slave driven.

The ear tips are noticible to me, and I'm worried it'll become uncomfortable after wearing all day, I'll learn tomorrow when I take them to work
Very excited for wide area tap, I wear rubber gloves so touch controls are an immediate disqualifier to me, they sound good to me

For me the earbuds just cut the music while my phone is in my pocket
Don’t eat anything crunchy, the tap controls are too sensitive.
They have a hole and still have better sound quality than any airpod 😂

As if the Airpods are not ugly. Both could be said to have a "unique" design. I wouldn't describe either as good looking.
