Really loving mine as well. The most comfortable bluetooth earbuds I've ever had, because they don't sit in the ear canal. Could never find a good fit with the others I've tried. So long as you don't mind the open aspect, highly recommend.
Loving my Linkbuds - Over ear headphones often get hot and sweaty (and are cumbersome), but most in ear earbuds are uncomfortable and cause wax and rubbing problems in my ears - these are perfect for me. And it was your initial review that tipped me into buying them, so thanks Craig!
Just picked these up for 60 dollars. Delighted with them! I have a lot of trouble with ear wax and the ANC plug your ear type buds are just a nightmare, so these are perfect for me.
@@keithmaher9576 There was a 15% coupon last week, so I was able to get these for $51 -- quite the deal. I'm really impressed so far, but I'm still trying to figure out the fit.
@@ericpircher The fit is everything. In the right position they sound incredible. Out of position they're woeful. I ended up with the largest fittings to get that tight fight and they're amazing
I'm tempted to get these since the earplug type that every other earphones use are always uncomfortable and give me headaches no matter the size it just feels gross and unnatural so I was hoping these would feel good plus the noise canceling and stuff just makes me feel weird I hate not being able to hear what's around me
Batteries in mine are all but basically dead after a year of normal use of course exactly 1 month after warranty is up. Plus I never thought it would be possible to make earbuds harder to replace the batteries than apple but Sony definitely accomplished it with these. Never buying a pair of Sony headphones again until they make the batteries user replaceable
This will be very helpful because it appears that MANY buyers and even pro reviewers are NOT mentioning just how CRUCIAL the fit is with these earphones. The default Medium ear hooks fit in my ear fine, but I had to boost up the volume big time to compensate. But once I went with Large & Extra Large (my left-side ear is slightly smaller), it made a BIG difference! Everything sounded better, more clear, I didn't need to put the bass & volume AS high anymore, etc. For EQ, I just used the "Rock" EQ on my Poweramp app.............lowered the bass EQ bars (3 farthest left-side ones) down a couple notches, and adjusted the pre-amp volume down as well. This fixed the "blown out speaker/subwoofer" sound issue I was having. Now they sound FANTASTIC and yeah phone calls are CRYSTAL CLEAR on both ends as well!! I'm very happy with them and will be keeping mine!! I'm going to subscribe to your channel BECAUSE of this in-depth and well-researched review!
I really dig them. I wish battery life was better but overall I'm glad I bought them. I had some extra foam ear cushions that are meant for old-school wired earbuds and placed them on the linkbuds; with this addition the fit is more secure and comfortable and you get better low end response.
I really loved mine when I had them, but I just couldn't find the right tips. I have a weird shaped ear and in-ear buds have always been an issue for me, so when these showed up I was excited to get them specifically for the comfort... They still didn't fit right:( All of the wing tips that were large enough to stay positioned in my ear were too wide and pushed against the crease in my ear and it hurt like hell after a while. Loved them otherwise, just had to switch to the XM4's instead;)
2023 January, $149. Weird but with correct size plastic ring the buds stay in ear. The 360 Spatial option definitely gives through head audio but if its use still restricted to music and podcast subscription services, i won't use. Software on mobile is Headphones Connect v 9.2.x for Android (Google) and iOS (Apple). Now supports multipoint by choosing the switching within the app. I registered Google app to Sony first then later on iPhone but also through same Google account. I fumbled to connect but it worked. For me, this is home use. I might use if I get back to walking. One primary reason to choose this model YY2953 linkbuds is I got tired of waxy ear buds grill. Not sure if Sony continuing them past 2022. It's universal that TH-cam reviewers said how-weird but i think they sound okay. My music or current app audio is less important than hearing what's around me.
How was the sound? I am not an audiophile, neither a bass freak but I don't want anything like those bone conduction headphones have. Are they as powerfull as semi open buds? (like the 1st gen AirPods or OnePlus buds)
Bought mine and used for a day I switch to xm4. Reason why I don't think it can last even 3 hour. Is it even possible? I called for a 37min 87% goes down to 34%. Well u may want to open the setting like speak to stop playing, and google assistance. It last 1:30hour min or less, for my usage :(
Hi, thanks for the review. Does sound bleed a lot to the outside? Like, can people hear what i'm listening to even if i keep the volume low? I'm afraid i can't use them in the library :/

Just got these today at 140 at Best Buy and I do regret buying these. Will try to exchange them for another pair of Sony earbuds. Got these for my Bravia oled to watch tv at night without disturbing my wife and I found the right loop to fit my ear size put them in correctly and they fit comfortably for about 30-45 minutes. After that I started to feel pain inside my ear. Left them in for about another hour and not only where pretty painful but died from a full charge in less then 2 hours. Fully charged them again and same thing not even a full 2 hours. Will be trying to exchange for a different pair. 🤷♂️ great vid tho

Exactly the issue. All Earbuds become E Waste after 1-2 years. Better invest in a durable IEM if sound quality is what you need.
