The killer feature for me is the near tap function. Like tapping around the ear area to skip tracks, play/pause. BUT, the way I use it is by clicking my jaw to play/pause, etc. Nothing exaggerated, but a subtle * chomp, chomp * to control my listening is a game changer when I'm walking the dog or have my hands in the sink. It's so convenient I can't live without it and wish it was more common. I just don't know how to clean the tiny holes on the damn things.
Just ordered mine yesterday, $39.99 open box on eBay... Can't wait! UPDATE 6/2024 I returned them, the right earbud had a crackling "bad speaker" sound but besides that I found them too tedious taking in and out, bought Linkbuds S instead and absolutely love them.
Have the same issue with them hurting my ears as well. I've tried the wing tips from the xsmall to the xlarge and they still hurt my ears. I can't even tell if I put them in right to be honest. I wear them at work which is great because I have hearing issues and regular ear buds or headphones make it harder for me to hear anyone. These allow me to wear both buds and still be able to hear things around me. I just wish they were more comfy
I'm using these the problem is the left bud fits well but the right one doesn't fit properly.. I tried all the ear hooks.. These sound superb and have good features.. These aren't my primary buds so It doesn't bother me if the right one doesn't fit well
i love the sound of these headphones but i'm unsure if i'm wearing them right. i tuck the piece like it says but if i eat while wearing them or talk to people then they start to slip out of my ear a bit and the sound quality changes. I'm currently using the large wings
@@ShiroDustbunny I had the same problem. They also started to slip out. So I thought the wings I used were too small. After a while, I noticed that the linksbuds got pushed out because I was using a wing size too large. so I went smaller. Now I use the second smallest wing and the linkbuds fit perfectly. I even go mountain biking without worrying about them falling out.
I really wanted to like this I had them for a while I quite like the sound the big problem was they made my ears sore especially the right one so I had to give up using them now I've got the c700n Which have great sound and are very comfortable.
REALLY disappointed in these earbuds. Sending them back. I've got everything tweaked correctly and the volume is so low and it is virtually void of any bass at all. And yes I've made adjustments. Stay away these are horrible....
Then I think you are wearing them wrong. I used a too-large size wing. That pushed the linkbuds a bit outworth. This made them sound really soft/bad. After going for a smaller size they fit perfectly. Now when I set the volume to 100% I can hardly hear the environment around me anymore. And yes, because of the open design, you can't expect a deep low bass response, But the bass is not absent. There is still some decent bass left. I really love them. I ride a bicycle a lot, (Dutch guy) so being able to hear the environment around me is the best feature ever.
@@tommymack3210 I did. Most of the famous reviewers out there just say they sounds good etc. But after I bought them and realize how bad they are, I search for "real review" by Flossy Carter (if you don't know him I really recommend you to follow him), then I felt sorry for not see his review about those earbuds. He was straight and real about those. See for yourself.

I've always wondered why reviews always bring up active noise cancellation on these buds. I don't get it. Like, do people not see the hole on it?

The 15 second timer is meant for conversing with someone. So that your music doesn't resume while the other person talks.

Podcasts and phone calls seem to work best. Music is okay if you like it low.
I think different country different feature in apps.

Nice and informative, review you use too many words, especially filler words, like "like" and "actually" a lot.
They hurt my ears too

I wish I read this before buying them 😢
Didn’t you do any research before buying them??

I've got Buds S and they sound great. Lots of bass.
