    I just want to say thank you so much for all the info and content that your podcast makes. I'm starting my first league at my local comic book shop. It was you that let me make the decide to go with undead. Thank you so much giving a place to get the run down on the basics and advanced features of this system

    I had a dirty player and sneaky git ghoul once. Awesome player. No one ever saw him coming.

    Great video! I'm excited to give one of my weights tackle as their first skill, because my small league has a TON of dodge pieces/stunty players. Unofficially name him the stunty crusher.

    Undead are a challenging team to play against when running Dwarfs I have found but having a challenge is a good thing overall.
    Thank you for putting this together Ben 👍🏻

    Easily one of my favorite teams in Blood Bowl (even if i'm not a huge fan of the current Sculpts with the Fat Jogging Mummies and Wights being basically just Skeleton Linemen with little wings glued to their helmets)
    Personally i find Stand Firm to be exceptional on Mummies once they have Block and/or Guard, makes for great roadblocks and cage cornerstones
    For Wights, i think the new Break Tackle is kinda awesome, it's a Primary skill for them and makes them dodge on a 2+ (once a turn) which can be massive for some clutch blitz or breakaway
    Also, i think Defensive, might be a good Ghoul skill on a designated Carrier, to cancel out enemy Guard and basically turn 2ds into 1ds a lot of the time

      You want at least one killer wight with mb tackle and both with guard.

    Awesome video with great advice I really do like undead teams they just stick all of the boxes straight out of the box

    Could be a really interesting team to build up guard spam + defensive spam. Not sure any other teams can do that anywhere near as effectively.

      Undead are one of the few teams with decent access to both guard and defensive (humans being another) , but spamming both is probably a lot of wasted SPP.
      Elf teams get easy access to defensive spam, dwarfs/chorfs/orcs get decent access to guard spam. Either of those wastes a lot of SPP to spam the skill they don't access easily and undead likewise would do the same if they try to spam both. They're worth taking, but not worth spamming. Get them on the pieces that can use them and then use those pieces wisely.

    Would you be willing to do Tomb Kings/Khemri in the near future?

      Tomb kings development: mighty blow where possible.
      Players who can't take mighty blow should take dirty player.

    Anyone have problems with undead against lizards? I tend to tie up the ag 1 line then go skink hunting. It works really well in defence but in offence with that speed they are on my ghoul before I’m even close to the halfway line.once a saurus knocks a dude on the edge down my line crumbles with every player on that team moving like elves!! It becomes a game of man marking saurus as best I can and dodging long blitzes. I’ve not seen many match up guides on here for hybrid teams that can run and block.

      Was playing against lizards yesterday. First half I was offence got the ball and slow caged to the touchdown turn 8. It was brutal and an absolute grind I lost 2 a wight and a zombie to a cheeky fireball they lost two skinks and a saurus. Next half I was defence so in my element chevron defence and got a blitz or whatever it’s called so my ghouls were in the back field turn 2 and we tied the crocks up. 2-0 then I was on offence and it was an absolute shit show as by then I was down 2 ghouls two zombies a wight. Had a wight a ghoul and a zombie with block as well as my mummies and a pair of skeletons. The saurus just punched through my line and my skeleton/ghoul was just consistently failing the pick up within 2 turns they were in my endzone with the ball and full supports. Maybe a 3 turn touchdown. Then reset and a two turn to tie the game on turn 16. Proper hurt my feelings 😅

    Dirty player for the zombies 100% ☠️

    I did toy with the idea of a hit man ghoul, sneaky git and dirty player, but really it is just not worth losing the ghoul for something a 4pk zombletron can do. Wrestle to make a second sacker on my 4th ghoul

    First off love the videos but I would like it even more if you showed the miniatures on screen as you talked about them like when you talk about zombies Show a zombie.

    Hi, I'm mostly fully in agreement with your view on the team development. I think that you missed that ghouls r e a l l y benefit from random skill ups. Once you block or wrestle the ghouls, I think it's a valid concept to just give them random (agility) skills. They aren't long lived normally so this way you can speed up their development a lot, the ghouls won't inflate your tv and it will pain you less when you inevitably lose them. For the last reason, I'd never try for a stat up with them.
    Take this with a grain of salt, as I don't have that much mileage in this game yet ;)

      Wrestle ghouls want tackle. And I would rather have sidestep on all carrier with blodge sure hands.

      I never see a call for ghouls to take strip ball, why is that?

    • @rhag1394
      @rhag1394 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@andyoakley6013 I think it's a good second or third skill for a safety.
      1. Wrestle
      2. Strip ball if few sure hands players in league
      3. Tackle
      I've played a bit more now and like giving a first random skill to ghouls and a chosen second skill. For example I got a random strip ball ghoul that I chose a Wrestle for as the second skill.

    Defensive on ghouls is a decent option and "might" keep them alive!
    Dont forget, wights are emergency ball carriers too! Late in the game when chasing that TD, dodge might just save the game for you

  • @WoWisdeadtome
    @WoWisdeadtome 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I notice you didn't suggest any stats on a mummy. I feel this is probably the right decision.
    The only stat that would be good is +ST and even then it's 80k in TV for something that provides not much value. It does often get you 3 die blocks with only one assist which can be alright but it won't ever really shine before getting multi block. Because stats are randomly generated after spending the SPP +MA gets you to beard speed (not exactly blazing it), +AG is still awful, +AV is pretty much always terrible but even more so when your only real threats already are only claws or big fouls.

    Since the Zombies go on the Line, shouldn't the Skeletons be getting Kick?
