This is definitely a very "sum 41 song". Somehow they manage to make this music in-between metal-ish pop punk vibe. Can't wait to listen to the rest of the album
I wouldn’t say classic sum 41, but definetly their vibe- has echos from some songs off “chuck” but if you listened to all their music you’d know that
100% agreed, chuck mixed with a bit of screaming bloody murder and 13 voices. I cannot imagine what they have on that double album 🤔🔥
@@CanutoplayI think bloody murder they tried to follow more of a harder metal vibe didn’t they?
This is so good but you must here “The Wave” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🤘🐺🎧🐺🤘
Masters of blending punk and metal. They are really going out on top with this last record and tour.
That drummer is living his best life
This is the Sum 41 we need.
2 Songs out now and both are so fucking sick we will miss u sum41😢❤ amazing work
Nobody is gonna comment on the fact Noodles, from The Offspring, is the plane pilot? Okay.
he's a vaxxer nazi that decried people that didn't obey government mandates
I seent it, then I seent you said it LOL. I was like" oh shit that's Noodles from the Offspring when he said his name" lol
They managed to fit the sound of their entire career into one song. This video is hilarious too.
How the hell did I miss this?? Mannn this was heavy. Def a ‘Hell’ song🔥🤘🏻
Awesome song and cool as hell that they had a cameo from Noodles from the offspring. Just threw me back into my punk rock days 🤘🤘
Almost ironic since it's Dexter who actually has a pilots licence 😅
There’s an offspring poster reference in their “land mines” video from a month ago,
They just did a global tour with the offspring, so, I’d think the offspring will heavily influence this album as they were making music while on tour, and vice versa when offspring release their new album next year
Noodles 🍜 pushed the jab 💉💉💉 hard. Lost all respect for the Offspring. Big Pharma shills
I love how you decided to close your career going back to your most true roots but keeping all the stuff you went through these years in it. It's like a twenty-five long nostalgia ride and it's fkin awesome.
Heaven will be their true roots, and hell will be the evolution through the years. I guess thats the meaning of what sibast said ;)
@@punkninjitsu3698man this is a song that would absolutely fit in "does this look infected", and since pain for pleasure they always had a "harder" vibe inside their pop punk sound, that actually went missed for a long time and than slowly reprised. That's what I always liked of them, and in this track you can hear it, even if contaminated by some more "melodic" stuff from more recent albums (which means an evolution of their sound, and it's something that will always be approved imho).
This is so good but you must here “The Wave” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🤘🐺🎧🐺🤘
Old or new, the Sum is always 41. They're going to unload a ton of bangers and then fade into the sunset, leaving behind their legendary legacy.. FUCKING EPIC!
Man from the age of 12 I've been Listening to Sum 41. Now at 30, Im incredibly happy to hear new stuff from them! I know its the beggining of the end but, i couldn't be more grateful!
I'm 31 years old and have been a fan since I was 15. There was a time when I felt suicidal and homesick, but then I stumbled upon this song here, It brought me so much joy and completely lifted my spirits.
I'm 31 been a fan since about 12 when I saw fat lip and in to deep on MTV and vh1 before school started! Lol
@@mentality-monster I listened to the along again and it's like sum41 is still themselves just fused a little Chester Bennington in there.. rip chester
I gonna miss a lot this band when they end promoting this last album, being a fan since kid and grow up listening to them... it's an invaluable thing for me.
Sum 41 forever 🤘🏻
They’re trash lol trying to capitalize on milinials obsession with the past
@@buriedyoux7393 im sure of it but ill still be there to see them for their “last” tour. Skumfuk for life
Their ages added up to 41 when they started as a band, they’re like Sum 165 now. Thank you for your service, gentlemen. It’s been a great ride. I’ll miss the band but I get it. Will enjoy the end of this epic run, and hope for an occasional reunion show.
Sum 41 will always kick-ass & I'll be Missing the hell out of this Canadian punk band!!!! 🤘🏾🤘🏾
Still going strong! Thank you Sum 41.
I absolutely enjoy the heavier side of SUM 41. SOOOOO much energy. I cannot wait to hear the new album.
I'm 40yo but when I listen to this band I return to my adolescence. Best moments in school... I miss you guys Daniel, Eduardo, Marlon, Douglas, David, Luiz Henrique... we were a great team! I'll never forget!
That scream sounds like Chester!! Absolutely amazing
What I didn't expect is that when played live the scream comes from Brownsound.
Not only is it so much fun to see Noodles as the pilot, the song is also great. Thank you for making these videos!
"Does this look infected" vibes! Loving it! 🥰
Never in a thousand years did I think that sum41 would return
Unfortunately to disband for good afterwards ;-;
But holy crap they're leaving with a bang and a half
They never really left took a long break they have two albums before this one
I don't know why people are surprised when they say they didn't think they would see Sum41 come back. Their last album was 5 years ago which isn't very long. the real fans never stopped listening to them and staying informed. But if you missed Order in Decline (2019), go listen to it!
It was meh. I liked their albums but after Dave left it was never the same maybe that's why the new material is better.
@@wriglarzzz Dave has been back since 2015, so he's on Order in Decline and 13 Voices. Both great albums especially the former.
not really a come back as their breaking up hope to see you on their farewell tour this year
The last videoclip from the Hell side must end with the band entering Hell and be greeted by stevo, who was there all along
Dear Sum41
絶対に、今度の日本でのライブに行きたい!!!日本から応援しています!!!
I thought this song was the comeback of Sum41 but bever expected what this band has brought forth! Inspired. More music for our kind. This Should be more mainstream. Dedicate a station just for heavy!
Probably one of the best comeback songs I’ve heard from most of the bands I remember. Of the more recent bands, this stands out 💪🏽🔥🔥🔥
@@BusyNerd8 ok yeah greenday def did some heat too! But something about this sum41 song screams we need more!!!

Wild how these dudes can give me exactly what I need over 20 years. Thanks Sum.
Now THIS is the Sum 41 I've always loved!...stoked for the new album, since 'Chuck' and 'Does This Look Infected" are my all time faves!
i saw them on the does this look infected 15th ani tour in boston. even tho i been to big concerts. they put on one of my fave concerts for the house of blues small venue. Punk at its finest. That guitar solo in here gets my blood going too. DAVE IS THE MAN
Very cool shit. This doesn't sound overproduced pop like just about every other modern rock release. And from a band labeled "pop punk", that's a big deal. Big respect!
I'm honestly more stunned that they're releasing this and then breaking up. The singles have been so goddamn good, and it looks like they've been having fun. I'll miss them, be sure to see them live if you can. They put on a great show!
Lets goooo sum 41 🤘🤘🤘
THAT WAS SO GOOD!! Excited for the album!
I've always loved Sum 41, but BRO... SERIOUS COME BACK!!! ❤❤❤❤
Yes. Bring punk rock back! This is awesome!
Sum 41 has the best sounding guitar riffs
@@alexpaez5924 It does matter, because the statement is objectively false 😂
Thank you for existing Sum 41, Derick, Dave, Cone, Steve, Tom, Frank ❤🔥
This song is a time machine that took me back to the era of where the most awesome songs were ever released ❤
Imo, deryck is up there with the best, in term writing good catchy melodies and lyrics, very very talented.
I cannot believe you are going to retire when you can still release so many more bangers. I know you have your very valid personal reasons but damn, what the world is going to miss is incredible. Thank you for all these years, this last album is turning out absolutely spectacular, you will go with a bang. ❤
This is the best way for a rock star to go out. Think of all those gone too young who weren't able to make this choice. I wish him luck. We will jam their music for years to come.
They’ll be back in a couple years. Nothing is forever. They probably just need time to heal whatever they’re going through. Let’s just be grateful that the band went back to their roots, and that’s thanks to Dave being back to the band. Ever since he left back in 2005, the band ended up losing part of its identity. But now we get to see the best of them one final time.
@@JR-90I sure hope they’ll reappear years down the road, plenty of great bands do or at the very least start touring again out of nowhere. I NEED to see them this year tho which would be my first and hopefully not my last
I think its more of retiring the Sum 41 name. Im pretty sure deryck will still be making music, maybe as a solo act.
This is awesome! So many guests and iconic characters which I didnt expect and that solo was dope, sounded abit like Through the Fire and Flames at first haha but reminded me of the In Too Deep solo too and gave me major nostalgia! Loved this
Saw them 15 years ago or so in a small English university, and they looked done. Great to see they are making it fresh and real once again
Yea he was badly struggling with alcoholism during the Screaming Bloody Murder album era and that affected their live performances. They're gonna be disbanding after this year after a final tour and double album clearly at the peak of their live performance and music again
久しぶりに聴きました❗️今でも現役でやってるSUM41はカッコよくて大好きです🥰
Going out on a high is the most admirable and respectful thing a band can do. Crossing my fingers for a Slam Dunk Uk appearance!!!
The idea of the videoclip is brilliant! The song is so damn good! Welcome back Sum41.
welcoem back when did they leave? order in decline came out like 4 years ago thats not super long for an album and hevan x hell has been announced for a few years
THOSE SCREAMS!! Deyrick is an amazing vocalist
How does this not have more views? They seriously drop fire after all these years. This one’s been on repeat for days
Because people prefer to listen to shitty algorithm generated music nowadays
"You've been mistaken if you thought I was gone
Coz I've been waiting for this moment too long"
DANG! SUM 41 DELIVERS AGAIN!
seriously speaking, how have they never released a bad song
This music video’s cinematography has made this even more of a blast! Loving it!
OMG! How I missed Sum 41!! 🥲
Brown Sound shredding on the wing was the stuff of legends!
This song has motivated me to finally, at age 30, stand up to my mom and tell her im not gonna clean my room.
[Edit: lost phone privileges for 3 days]
This part was the best “Whao” i have ever hear! Sum41 still got the place in my heart❤️🔥❤️🔥1:36
Sum 41 about to release there best album as there last :( (this, Landmines and Twist of Fate are great)
Anyone else feel like this is one of the catchiest choruses they've ever done? ...just me? 🔥😎
Still the most metal-punk band.
@@auronbaldwin1 this is double album. this track will be on Hell.
the pop--punk esque is on Heaven.
Look at the roof of the plane. One side is blue like heaven, other is red like hell.

New Sum 41 music? Woo! 🤟🏾
That chorus is incredible. This has Does It Look Infected vibes, too! And the Noodles cameo? Nice.
Absolutely awesome song.

I will really miss Sum 41, but I am blessed enough to say that I got the chance to watch them live a couple years ago in Rock al Parque in Bogotá. That show meant a lot for me since I grew up with their music and all I have to day is thank you for all they've done! 🖤
@@salvagedsteelstudio cared enough to respond though, didn't you. ;)
These guys have been blowing my mind since I was 12 im 34 now I just woke up what an awesome band/song to wake up to 😎😝
It was actually an honor watching the premiere of this artwork live, and all I can say is thank You Sums ;-) for yet another soul filling song. Since I discovered Sum 41 they have and will alway follow me, the music shall always play forever. Good Song! All the love
Please don't retire, no band ever does, we need you guys to make more awesome music.
better to go out on a high note than stay around and evnetually release uninspired water down shit then fade out
@@user-fp1zp8qo5lIt depends, if that what makes them and their fans happy. Some people kill themselves after a band disbands or if it makes bad music. You gotta do whatever is right for the members. If there's still money to be made, go get it!
Guys I'm following sum 41 since the begin and with this album they've confirmed me that they are one of the best bands I know, thank you so much sum 41 to be what you are, please don't change I love you in this way
Reminds me a lot of something off “Screaming Bloody Murder”. I loved that album.
These new music videos both make me happy and sad. Happy because hey, it's a new music video! Sad because they are going to be some of the last we'll ever get. Love Sum41, been listening from the beginning. Really hope years down the line they come back for a tour or something. Lots of life and memories tied to their albums, not just with me but with all of the fans. They're great and so are all of you!
Awesome just like when i found this guys about 25 years agoo...
Thank you Sum 41 🔥🔥🔥❤️
Sum 41 was my favorite band back in high school, and admittedly I didn't listen to their latest releases much, but this one's a BANGER!
>arrive home drunk from a party
>oh shit wat is dis

The amount of joy this brought me is like Christmas morning ❤ Love the video and the song 👏🏻
Both guitars are beautiful
excited to see them tomorrow in their final world tour!!
They’re back! That’s what we want! What the hell!! Good vibes!! So amazing!! Thanks guyss!! See u on stage soon!!🖤🔥
Its a shame they are disbanding but bases off these first two songs they are definitely going out on a high note.
I've been listening Sum 41 since 2004. ♥
I can’t believe what I’m hearing!! They are still killing it man wow
All, greetings from Bogotá
Neo punk is still alive here.
It's great that you continue releasing songs, and keep Punk rock alive, I hope you don't separate, and continue in the fight of the scene, you are my favorite band, and I hope to see you again in Rock in the park 🤘🤘It would also be great for your Latin fans, a little verse in Spanish.
Sad to say, but they are calling it quits after this album and tour. And they won't be at Rock am Ring or Rock im Park next year. They will be on Hurricane and Southside. Next year will be the last time to see them live. Either at a Festival or a solo gig at their last tour (there are no dates for europe out yet). They are one of my favorites too 🤘 So enjoy them while you still can.
Hola, que lindo y si sum 41 es excelente, también te saludo desde Bogotá y escuchando música de este grupo genial
My life cannot be without sum41❤
Honestly might be the best guitar solo of this half of the decade
Classic Sum41. Coming from someone whos been here since day 1!
Mais c'est encore une pure dinguerie c'est hallucinant tout les flash-back des précédent albums et needles de the offspring, la consécration des grands parmi les grands
I know SUM41 for 15 years. But for last 3 years I am listenning them every day. They are in my top 3 bands of alltime with Linkin Park and SOAD...
Please, dont stop making your amazing music!!! ❤🎸
Hard to think this is Peak Sum 41 and it's almost over.
Still hit the spot!! Well done Sum41!!!
im 30 in 2 days and all i can say is long live Sum 41 for fucking ever.
Another banger from one of the greatest bands ever! I'm sure gonna miss Sum 41 when they hang it up.
badass song, the beat of an oldskoll song that is not forgotten, thank you for keeping it that way.even though times & years change.
Just came from the Mark hoppus stream to find new Sum 41! Win!
Superb work guys!
It has a “Does this look infected album” vibe mixed with modern metal vibes.
Keep on rocking!
This album is supposed to be a split between their pop punk and their heavier stuff.
3:33 sounds like through the fire and flames
WOW one of the sums best songs.
very surprised and pleased to hear some old school Sum 41
Everytime I'm going through something reallly bad Sum 41 always seems to come out with a song or album that makes my life better. Thank you Sum 41, you probably saved more lives than you know
Really? Because 20 years ago at 12 years old I swallowed every pill in the house, listening to "I Plan On Never Waking Up" on repeat.
We always talk about how music "saves" us. Never how it can negatively affect us.
I'm sorry that happened to you. I think with the early years and especially being that young it can be easy to fixate on songs but there was a lot of positive to take away from that album. In Too Deep is obviously about not feeling good enough but the poetry lies within the rhymes, not the context. I hope you're doing better, sending goood energy!
