Where can we purchase the tests? And find the accompanying information to treat our issue? I have pockets in my gums and some bleeding. I am going to the dentist every 3 months for a deep cleaning for years now, they seem to be of very little help. They do not seem to really care, or try to figure anything out, just tell me to floss and brush regularly. I have taken this into my own hands, and playing with my diet by trial and error and trying to find out what causes my gums to do worse or better. I am low carb, I eat no processes foods or chemicals. I am paleo/keto/carnivore/lowcarb I alternate. I do not smoke, I have quit coffee. I am trying everything! I will figure this out! I will find certain foods to make the bleeding come back stronger, like beets, nuts, bananas, honey, for instance, so I am going without those, carbs of any kind seem to be the issue, I am doing my best to avoid them, but I feel like something is wrong with me, at some point I would like to be able to eat fruit and vegetables again! I have noticed some receding gums lately (black triangles). I am putting so much effort in, help would be appreciated. I am in Colorado, is there anyone you suggest? Thanks!

In my personal experience with more than two handful of dentists, they all quick to treat fillings, do root canals and pull teeth. Instead of providing solutions Ive lost teeth! Hope I can understand how a healthy looking person with normal labs is in this situation. Not sure I see the links you mentioned.

    Here’s a question:
If one is going make occasional use of standard, of-the-shelf mouthwash, would the microbiome’s repopulation of nitrate-producing “good” bacteria be enhanced by chewing gum a few minutes (prior to using mouthwash) and then saving the gum to be reused after the alcohol (from mouthwash) is rinsed away and a supportive ph (slightly basic) has been reestablished in the oral cavity?

Simple comment; eat plenty of fatty meats,. .plenty of "good fats"... eat HIGH nitrate foods for your oral microbiome: beets, celery, spinach, and arugula - feed your good bacteria...make Nitric Oxide...love your spouse!

The bristle(?) test sounds interesting! Are some of the mouth microbes good but only in limited amounts? Would salt swishing kill both bad and good? or clove oil-, sage rinse-, ? When get a toothache have used a tiny bit of onion on it for a few minutes (or ginger or garlic but can only stand 10sec.) and it helps but dont know if reduces "good" bact. also. Have just started swishing with coconut oil (organic) or olive oil and mouth feels better somehow. When look in nutriton book, some of symptoms for mouth sound like scurvy! Guess pH of 7--? is good? A nice talk on this video!

Hi dentist, Recently I went to the dentist to have the back top molar drilled and put a filling in. A few days later it started to feel uncomfortable so I called the dentist and they said to come back in. I went back in and they did x rays and said that there was a gap in the bong and it pulled away. I wanted to ask if this was normal or is it a sign of a bad dentist. Also when they injected me with novocaine it hurt bad. I think they may have struck a nerve. I had double
vision for about 5 minutes. I know that is maybe unavoidable. I just was nervous that these 2 things should
make me look for a different dentist or am I overthinking it.Everyone keeps telling me to go somewhere else. The dentist has been licensed for 7 years and seems very smart to me. Can you please help me. thanks

    Important questions gentlemen:
This in relation to oral m.biome wrt the male/ female sexual health and nitrate intake...via the M. Biome.
NOs/nitric oxide is needed for all sexual activity for obvious reasons in both sexes; men...its obvious.

@askthedentist. Hi mark is there a way to contact David lin directly please? As I have an issue that the bristlehealth quiz said they could help with but they only ship to the USA and I live in the uk, so wondered if he had a way that they could ship to the uk to help. Tried dentists and doctors here with no resolution. Thanks for the help

Question, will taking iodine drops orally damage the oral microbiome? I have heard from one practitioner that drinking iodine mixed with water will damage the gut microbiome over time because iodine kills bacteria. I am taking 1 drop of Detoxadine nascent iodine (600 mcg) under the tongue daily, followed by a glass of water. Thanks
