      There aren't many studies about that but there is a study that indicates that the consume of nitrates can act as a prebiotic

      This is something Ive been looking for. I dont thibk dentists want us to know as a healthy microbiome would basically mean the end of cavities. Flouride kills everything, so makes no improvement to the microbiome, it just leaves a blank pallette.

      Hi Rhiz! We care for you. But unfortunately we don’t provide medical advice through this channel. We’d recommend reaching out to a local health professional for any consultation and diagnosis of your condition.

      Solaray provides a probiotic intended to support the health of the mouth and throat. It is their MyCrobiome Probiotic Lozenges labelled "Mouth & Throat." It contains two specific strains of Streptococcus salivarius and Bacillus coagulans with no strain indicated. I get it from Amazon.
      (I make no claims for the appropriateness or effectiveness of this product.)

    What are the dietary (food) that help support the reduction of these bad guys (bad gum bacteria)?

    • @brahmaputramoskva1215
      @brahmaputramoskva1215 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The reduction of bad microbiota can be done just by eating less sugar and you can brush teeth without paste for sticked sugar if eaten
      Sugar is main cause for growth of unnecessary microbiota and second,is stuck food

    • @dublinvids5146

      @@brahmaputramoskva1215 Sugar in all forms, including grains, and not just refined sugar. Bad bacteria will feast on rice and bread (etc) also.

    So is brushing teeth and using mouthwash bad?

    • @NoWarInBaSingSe
      @NoWarInBaSingSe 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Ya bad. But good too. More good than bad. If you don't brush teeth then bacteria with a mysterious liquid-filled flask may attack you and use advance, um I mean, ancient technology to drill holes in your tooth thus giving you a bad time. So brush your teeth twice a day for 3 minutes! (Toothbrushes didn't sponsor this comment)

    why bother with mouthrinse for fluoride when toothpaste has more
    concentration of? better just swishing with toothpaste and little
    mouthful of water? l use xylitol added coconut oil. better as t don't
    harm the beneficial microbiome, only targeting the bad guys?
