Plunger is a memory for me. New toilets work so efficiently it does not have any clogging problem. Or maybe little kids can throw something into the toilet like small toys causing a clog.
Try using the Mansfield 173 tank on the 137 bowls. flushes a whole lot better than that Delta Toilet. Also, I can change the fill valve and flapper and flush more water for long-distance flow in gravity-fed lines.
just read your comment - what fill valve and flapper are you mentioning for "long distance" flow? I have a 50 foot run into my septic system and am looking for a replacement toilet.
Rating by Consumers Reports differ greatly from the ratings by people who buy and use the products. Tells us a lot.
Our new Toto toilet is 1.0/08 GPF dual lush model. Quiet and so far never had a problem.
