Just listen to the song and this song dedicates to all OFW parents.. As a wife of a seafarer, its difficult to raise my two daughters being a full time mother juggling two roles without a father most of the time in search for money just to give us a better life..Kudos to all parents and family members for their hard work and sacrifices.. My two daughters are now grown ups age 21 and 18 and they reward the hard work and sacrifices of their Papa by studying well and getting good grades..When they were small, it was hard and stressful without having my hubby to share my ups and downs as a solo parent but with God's grace and strength I have survived thanked God! Am proud also of my two daughters and two yrs from now my eldest will finish her studies taking up Environmental Engineering and the youngest will take nursing in August.. Two years from now maybe thats the time their father will retire as a seafarer God willing..Btw, he will turn 60 this Aug.. I just wish him good health always so that we could spend more time with him catching the times he wasnt around for me and our two daughters. Thank You so much pretty Kelly for the sweet words! ❤❤❤

Alamat always amazes me with their improvement in each performance they give. I enjoyed your reaction very much, thanks for this! I'm glad you enjoyed this as much as I did the first time. For me, Alas is also one of my favorite rappers in P-Pop, with the same reasons as you. Like the way he enunciates is just chef's kiss! To this day, this and the "gayuma" wish performance of alamat are what I go back to every once in awhile. 😄🤎

ILY ILY seems to be patterned with filipino RAP songs. Commonly played on public transportation in PH.
Those rap songs has rapper on verse. Chorus is slow ballad. A sample of this is Black Eyed Peas, Just Can't Get Enough and APL song.

Actually, that song ily ily is what introduced me to Alamat. The arrangement and vocal harmonization is really amazing. Aside for the heart-wrecking message, it was the musicality for me. I remember when i finished hearing the whole song, i was like "who are these boys? I need to know who they are. Let me google them" hahahah
I totally agree! The musicality is phenomenal. Alamat has a very unique sound 😍 Fun fact, my intro to them was Say U Love Me 😅 so we had 2 very different intros lol
