My Great Grandmother was 96, nearly, and embalming actually gave her back some hydration and less wrinkles….she looked younger…and as if she were sleeping. It was beautiful. I’m not sure younger folks wear as well when they pass young…but you are a magician, girly, and if I were going to have a showing, I would want you, sweet, to be THE one.❤
@@Areyoudyingtoknow Same here, can I put it on paper for Tracey to travel to Adelaide when my time passes. You are amazing. I agree that you are a skilled artist! ❤️❤️

I always love watching your videos, guys. My mum died 22 years ago and I found the viewing pretty traumatic. She had cancer, but in the inflammatory kind and she didn't look much like my mum. Learning about the procedures and what can potentially go wrong and why I find both comforting and fascinating. Thank you both x
Oh Hollie so very sorry to hear this about your mum 😞 Hope you are ok and it's reassuring to hear that these videos help others make it all worthwhile. Sending love & hugs from us both 🩷🩷
Aloha T&T cool question about being emaciated, thanks for answering it well. My sister was emaciated due to her cancer when she passed. I miss her dearly everyday, I was her caregiver and when she passed I felt so lost 😢
Wow, very interesting, I knew in a way that morticians fixed you face always trying to achieve a peaceful expression, almost like if people were asleep, but I didn't know how many details are involved. Thank you for the question and marvelous explanation, beautiful ladies. Have a great weekend!
A difficult topic very well explained. Thank you ladies for the work you do to help families cope during a tough time and for the work you guys do to bring us these videos
First let me say that I love you guys and the wealth of information you share! I have noticed that you say goodbye, wipe the smile off your faces, and turn away from each other. Not a good look for the ending.
Hi, it's nothing bad, we are just focusing on getting the next video ready. So we always jump up quickly to reorganise and get the next question ready and re-set our cameras. Just us been busy pulling everything together 😊 take care ❤️❤️
Forgive me for saying but this all seems like a great deal of work for only a few minutes of viewing; I suppose I'd feel differently if I were a grieving relative. In any case, you have my great admiration for being so skilled and dedicated to helping others at an especially difficult time of their lives.
Thank you. It's all worth it, even if the viewing is 5 minutes to 5 days as long as the family gets the closure needed. Some families often don't want any work like this done and to be left alone and I understand that too. Take good care 💚💚
Summer says bye ladies I'm on the waiting list as robot was not working day I was in so back home again. Will this ever end ?? Loads of love from aberdeen scotland.xx❤❤
Hi Tracy and tris my husband went to ed and he died on the ambulance trolley in the bay he was going to have a CT scan and he was waiting his heart stopped for over 1 hour anyway he was in a comma for 4 days he had surgery they put a stint in his heart so question I would like to ask he is home now so if he dies again with a mortician remove the stint from his heart please stay safe tracy and Trish ❤
Hi Julie, your poor husband 😞. No we don't remove stents after death, no need to. This would involve surgery and we are not surgeons. Hope you husband is doing well 🙏🏻❤️🩹💚💚
have you ever had cases where you are disturbed/afraid of the deceased’s physical state? i want to become a mortician, but that is one thing i am worried about
Hi, no I have never been afraid at all, nothing to be afraid of. I have seen many many disturbing sites with extreme trauma cases and decomposed persons. You get exposure to lots of traumatic cases. Before I did this job I wasn't sure if I would cope with this side of the job but I found I could and had support around me if I struggled. So it is a difficult one for me to answer as you know yourself better than anyone if you can or can't do a job such as this. It is a very rewarding job and I wouldn't do anything else. 🩷
Heyagen. Hope all is well and you have a good weekend / week :) I know nothing, me (probably have that put on my gravestone, if I have one 😉 ) But joking, or silliness aside. Seeing Cal, and yes I've seen skulls before, but looking at him, his eye sockets are very close to the temples. Something you don't really notice when skin and muscle is attached. So, how do you stop 'crossover' when you do the eye area, and the temple area? Is it practice, or obvious? I think I may have answered my own question, but it took weeks to write this so I will leave it 🙃 >> Eye injection 'inside' the skull and Temple 'outside'?
Hey lovely ladies here's a quickie for you, if someone has a DNR tattoo on their chests (but no DNR paperwork) are they legally valid? Much love from the uk, (a fellow geordie-ish I grew up in Hartlepool I'm sure Tracy knows of Hartlepool and the monkey hanging legend lol) I now live in the beautiful lake district in Cumbria😃
Yes certainly know Hartlepool. I don't know the answer to that question ⁉️ I would think it needs to be done on a legal document with signatures on them. Take care in beautiful Cumbria, do miss the Lake District 🤗🩷🩷
@@Areyoudyingtoknow thank you for replying 🤗 yeah the lake district is beautiful (bit bloody cold at the min tho) but my heart will always be in Hartlepool I'd move back in a heartbeat if I could. My brother's ashes are there n when I pop off half of mine are going to be scattered there to be with him, even tho I was born in Cumbria (we moved over to Hartlepool when I was 3, then back to Cumbria when I was 11)to me, Hartlepool was n always will be home lol (plus there's no gigantic spiders🤣🤣)

I admire what you do, no shade. But I don’t understand why families want viewings and reconstructions. I want to remember my loved one as they were in life. Embalming is the norm here, but I think it’s so brutal. The chemicals, the instruments-just no. I definitely don’t want that for myself.
Hi, oh I totally understand and like I have said here before in Australia we hardly embalm anyone. When I do injection I think of it as Botox and fillers because it's the same result achieved I just don't over exaggerate the features 🤗🩷🩷
