I have lived everywhere in Aus except Northern Territory. I lived in Perth for more than 8 years, recently moved to Tas temporarily, with the intention of going back. Honestly, I should say to you that Perth and Canberra were the best places to live a good quality life and raise kids, not to mention that they pay really well compared to other states. WA is the top region by GDP per capita in Australia so it does make sense too. Sydney and Melbourne were not bad, everything was relatively convenient like there were lots of Asian shops groceries and Asian people. But I didn't find it up to my standards. Well... at the end of the day, it is each to their own really. Hope this helps. All the best to you
