The todoroki vs deku fight is one of my favorite fights in series, because it isn’t just a fight, it’s a story being told through those punches, the people in the stadium didn’t know that todoroki was fighting a bigger fight than the one they were seeing, an internal fight.
The teachers literally tried to save their lives bro xD

"KIMI NO CHIKARA JANAI KA!" I don't think any reactor I've watched has gotten through MHA 2X10 without tearing up or acting up.😊
lachy witnesses the yutapon cubes for the first time... those debris cubes in the explosion are the work of nakamura yutaka, a key animator who works at the show's studio. absolutely BRILLIANT visuals. this episode apparently made the creator of the manga the anime is based on, horikoshi kohei, cry the first time he saw it. it also made me cry, but that's less impressive!
21:10 even amongst all the chaos and amazement, you're still able to throw shade at Mineta. It should be a sport for you at this point and I'm all here for it.

Everything about this fight is amazing--obviously the character development Todoroki gets is great (it's really good storytelling; I love that we, with him, get to break through past his anger with his father to his memories of what kind of hero HE has dreamed of being) but it's also so good at telling us more about Deku as a hero, a strategist, and a friend.
Todoroki's "I wasn't even thinking about you" at his dad is a great burn, but I think my favourite part of that exchange is him saying "I need to think about it"; it's so rare in fiction that characters get to say they need time to process stuff and decide how they feel.
When you said you hated finger injuries, I thought man this is going to be a rough one for you lol. The todoroki VS Deku fight is FIRE! I love the back story telling paired with the amazing fighting. That shot of Todoroki with the ice and fire coming off him with the crazy light work is amazing! This was what cemented Todoroki as my favorite from class 1A. Alas you haven't met my favorite hero , villain or non1A student yet LOL. so many exciting things to come!

midoriya vs todoroki is a top tier episode for sure!! the todoroki family saga is one of my favorite plotlines in this series, super interesting the deeper we go. endeavor worlds worst dad confirmed!!!

Bakugo is not his biggest weakness 💀 when you think bout it dark shadow is actually fodder cuz of its weakness.
In his same class we have bakugo who can beat tokoyami, todoroki with fire, momo can also do it if she used a gigantic torch with lots of lumens, aoyama with his laser light , kaminari has blinding light when he uses his quirk. Idk maybe koda can use millions of fireflies to produce some light. Like tokoyami's own classroom has counters against him. Now image the millions of villains out there 💀
(omg, I hadn't thought of the same-class incompatibility - or at least the ones that don't come up)
S2 ep 10 is still in my top 5 eps of the series so far! Such a good fuhkn episode

fun but not so fun fact: todorokis scar isn't from the boiling water itself, its actually from todorokis mother trying to cool it off with her ice in a panic
I think it's an okay revelation, bcuz people tend miss this little information. I even miss about this despite already read the manga and watch the future episode about it until i'm stumble upon other comment bout shoto's scar
Loved both of these episodes as hurt as a was that they stopped it, deku being who he’s been from the beginning always shines thru, he’s a hero who wants to save life’s, meddling even it was nothing to do with you is the essence of being a great hero. But who do you think is going to win it all
Deku will always try to save others even if he loses or gets hurt ♥️ Bakugo is much more than just a crap personality lol it’s just hard to tell cuz he’s always angry 😅~ oh I can’t wait for you the next ones :)
This is such an emotional episode... but I had to laugh, you had so many of the exact same reactions i did first watching this. It's been a while for me. But when Todoroki first let his fire out and his father was like "SHOTOU!!!!" I again said out loud, "Oh shut the fuck up" 2 seconds before you said the same thing. It was funny
And now you get to join us in the confusion and annoyance of knowing that the refs interfered with deku v todoroki and then called a winner anyway. lol
btw, great job with the audio! voices throughout is so much better than big silent stretches like end up in other people's reactions!

17:55 in the english dub this line is “it’s yours! _your_ quirk, not his!” personally i like this one better because it has a clearer meaning of ‘this quirk that i’m fighting does not belong to Endeavor’.
i said something on a previous video of yours about how deku will be a good hero because he saves people’s hearts, and todoroki is always the first one i think of for that because of this fight

She's slower and her attacks have a smaller area (or these specific ones do, with intervals between to build them up, while DS is a constant stream that doesnt need to be concentrated first)

The fight animation from this episode forward goes INSANE I feel they really dialed it up compared to S1.
Also in my opinion Endeavor is one of those irredeemable characters for me... He looks cool but as a character is one of my most disliked
