Wanted to teach English so bad a couple years ago (and still do low key) but life played itself out and now I’m in the US doing something completely different. I live vicariously through ppl like yourself and just wanna know is it still worth it? Even now after being there as long as you have and post the virus we should remain unnamed?
I havent lived no where but NY but when I went to visit Jamaican man I wish someone would of told menmy body was gonna have to adjust to the climate. My ears was clog the entire trip. I felt like I was catching a cold when I was out there. But all the food and ice cream and the beaches and clubs I went to made up for it. But I cant wait to go back now that I have kids. I still cant find no ice cream that taste like the ice cream I had in jamaica. And I wish somebody would of told me the ride from Montego Bay to Spanishtown was long🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
This has been very interesting and informative. We actually live in Luxembourg (Europe) bought a house in Sweden and we are planning to move there, with no family around us. So these are things we have to consider! Thanks for sharing
I’m curious about how your day to day life is with your Japanese not being the best? Does it affect you or do you know enough that it is fine? You are beautiful and definitely not “fat”- but I do see a lot of Japanese girls being really thin, so that does make sense why everything is difficult. Omg! That last thing was a little harder to hear. I always thing of moving to a different country or state and didn’t think of everyone else’s life moving on. Great vid though. Even if I don’t necessarily want to move to japan- there are good tips for anyone that wants to move to a new country or even a different state. I would love to see the opposite of this vid as well like what are the best things about moving to a new country.
I love your personality!! You’re so cute! I think when you move to a new place the culture is hard to get use to. I am from Argentina but grew up in USA and do notice the difference and when people visit me I do notice that difference. Wow! The independence and work life thing is crazy! That is so different. When I don’t have much to do- I just chill. Haha. I would love to visit Japan, so I think this is helpful for me to watch.
Wow you are brave going to venture out into another country on your own to live. I would have loved an opportunity like that when I was younger. Also, I bet it's pretty annoying to be used as English practice when you're just trying to be social. I've never lived abroad but I work in immigration sp I get exposed to many different cultures. The hardest ones for me to manage are the ones that still have gender inequality issues. So frustrating.
#FoodIsLife loool i nearly died when u referred to our food as close to burning point.. Re shopping- i have the same issue in France, things that i like fit weird and everything else just isn't my style. Plussss i have big feet and some stores don't even sell my size

I can testify to the challenges as an XL guy so I made a pit stop in NYC before coming but in my town, I did find one new Big and Tall store.
The work life in the USA is the same. Sitting around lounging is frowned upon and will try and be eliminated if it's happening.
