Just a recommendation from a fellow officer, put those mags on the other side closer to your left hand, so you dont have to cone across your body to conduct slide lock reloads. Just a tip
@@100tghost7 until she gets in a gunfight. Unfortunately gear set up is crucial for these situations. Its called economy of motion why have a mag pouch that you have to reach across your body vs having it on your weak side , .10ths of seconds matter when ypur life is on the line. After 21 years in SF and Law enforcement and as a Combat Marksmanship Instructor I only see Cops with mags on the same side as their pistol, you'll never see any SPEC OPS or SWAT with that setup, just saying, never made any sense to me. But God bless her and she does a sometimes thankless job.
The gloves! 🙌🏼 I carry two enclosed handcuff pockets, one for cuffs and one for rubber gloves. My department still uses the leather belts, but since we don’t carry as much for parking, we have the lighter, nylon belts that Velcro to the underbelt, and they hold surprisingly well!
Some considerations for new officers looking at this belt - try to get your magazines on the opposite side as your dominant hand, so that when you are reaching for a mag, you dont need to take your left hand and cross across your body to pull mags from the right side. It sounds nit-picky, but it makes reloads a lot slower. That being said, she looks pretty small, and its probably policy that her taser is a cross draw - so for people with smaller waists, real estate is going to be tough. Also, try not to line anything that is hard or solid with your spine because if (when) you fall down, it can cause a potentially life changing injury. Its also smart to consider placing your pepper spray on your side near a larger object like the taser or firearm because when you do inevitably fall on your side, it has a reduced chance of deploying or cracking open because you will land on the larger objects instead. Having spray accidentally deploy in a scuffle sucks, trust me. If I could recommend adding one thing to the belt, it would be an ez squeeze hand sanitizer pouch that you can use after going hands on.
Good job wearing your mags in the correct position vertically and properly indexed. You would be surprised how many LEOs do not setup their mags properly. You were trained well.
I did 2 years of armed security in 2011-2013 and I used nylon duty belt with soft side on inside and hard side out Velcro under belt. No keepers we needed and anytime on training it was awesome for me. I used to have 6 keepers before that and everyone I pulled my gun it would pull the holster with it (upside-down unlocked protection) so with Velcro it's way better. Try it.

A suggestion. Something I leartned from experience. Move your mag pouch to the left side of your belt. Situate your mags so that the front of the mags are toward your midline. During a reload, you draw the mag with your left hand, index finger extended in linear position up the front of the mag. Do this and you won't need eyes on your reload. Simply release your expended mag and point your left finger (with the reloading mad in hand) toward the magazine well and slam it home. You'll shave a lot of time off your reload. Love the video! Most people know nothing of the little things cops do.

When it's off to the side, the Sam Brown buckle and inner belt buckles won't be on top of each other. Mags should be on your support side so you don't have to reach across your body for reloads.
Also highly highly suggest SOE gear underbelt. The trick to the underbelt and duty belt sitting lower profile is offset the underbelt buckle by 1 loop, so instead of the underbelt buckle sitting on your gigline it sits off to the left or right. That way you have a more secure underbelt
Hopefully you uphold the constitution. So many bad cops out there it’s SICK. AND many departments cover for the bad cops.. I like good cops.. but I hate the bad ones.
does your department allow you to use the suspenders to help with the weight of your duty belt, I only ask due to the fact I just got mine from blauer and it helps alot.
Just found your channel and subscribed! Fellow LEO here. FYI I ended up switching from a leather basketweave duty belt to a Bianchi accumold basketweave duty belt with velcro and its so much better than leather with keepers! The bianchi fake leather is lighter, plus you don’t need keepers, saving more weight off the hips. The whole system just stays put on your waist. I do use my baton ring as a keeper for redundancy though! Stay safe out there!
I carry the same streamlight as an EMT. I don’t use it nearly enough but it’s stupid bright for its size. My belt holster for it broke though. Been stuck carrying it in my glove pocket till I find a new one I like. I placed my raptor shears on my right hip as well. Trying to get muscle memory down. Shooting for conservation law enforcement in the future.
Stef with an F you’re very welcome! Thanks for all you do as law enforcement! I appreciate my brothers and sisters in blue (and green)! Stay safe out there!
Here's a question. Do you know any law enforcement personnel that are left-handed, but keep the sidearm on the right side with the gun handle facing towards the front? Basically in the way would one would draw a shoulder holster?
Interesting comparison to a UK Duty belt. Not overly different. On the left of my buckle, 1x Monadock Extendable baton straight up front. 1x Leg restraint pouch contains 2 leg straps, directly behind, 1x Spit hood pouch directly behind. The back of my belt is completely clear so sitting in cars / vans is more comfortable. On the right of my buckle 1x Rigid TCH handcuffs up front 1x PAVA synthetic Pepper Spray 1x key holder, also containing spare handcuff key 1x Glove / bare necessity first aid pouch Then my radio etc is kept on my body armour
You should carry a tourniquet, maybe take off the keys and the pouch for the latex. You could put the latex in your pockets or in/on your carrier. Love the video. Be safe.
New Subscriber. You have such a cool channel. I think everyone is super curious about what it's actual like being a police officer. All we know is what we see in movies and on TV. This channel is so interesting I have so many questions! Fyi you're so pretty.
Little constructive criticism. Giving you the benefit of the doubt because I don’t know what’s on your vest, but one of the biggest things I don’t see is a Tourniquet on your belt!!! That’s a big thing that can save your or your fellow officers. You Should honestly have one on your belt & vest. Two, your flashlight holder on your belt needs to be replaced with a holder that snaps. You get into a fight or tussle that will fall out. You might carry one on your vest, but you should always carry two lights in case one goes dead Especially because you don’t have a weapon light.
Thank you for your service, enjoyed the video.

Can you add a link for that duty belt I been looking for a new one
It’s from safariland 😊
Hopefully you uphold the constitution. So many bad cops out there it’s SICK. AND many departments cover for the bad cops.. I like good cops.. but I hate the bad ones.
I love your police video’s! 😍❤️ yay
I'm so glad! :D
So i see im not the only one that was thirsty
This is so amazing! Love the police stuff!💕 you go girl!
I’m so glad you liked it!!🥰
does your department allow you to use the suspenders to help with the weight of your duty belt, I only ask due to the fact I just got mine from blauer and it helps alot.
I would have to check. I don't think anyone here wears them but they sound like they help!
Really super interesting video! And super presented! Take good care! Best wishes from Birmingham,UK!
Thank you for all you do as an EMT!
Stef with an F you’re very welcome! Thanks for all you do as law enforcement! I appreciate my brothers and sisters in blue (and green)! Stay safe out there!
I do security and our officers have the canvas belt with the plastic black buckles
Yes we would like to see your set up on your Vest and also stay safe out there sister
Okay!
Here's a question. Do you know any law enforcement personnel that are left-handed, but keep the sidearm on the right side with the gun handle facing towards the front? Basically in the way would one would draw a shoulder holster?
Great video!! Love the police stuff. Vest video would be super cool. How about a day of shooting too. Keep up the great work!!❤️👍👍
So glad you enjoyed. I would love to do a shooting range day. Maybe in the future!
Yeah in the future would be great. More in depth inside views of being a female police officer. Your view of the job .
Interesting comparison to a UK Duty belt. Not overly different.
On the left of my buckle,
1x Monadock Extendable baton straight up front.
1x Leg restraint pouch contains 2 leg straps, directly behind,
1x Spit hood pouch directly behind.
The back of my belt is completely clear so sitting in cars / vans is more comfortable.
On the right of my buckle
1x Rigid TCH handcuffs up front
1x PAVA synthetic Pepper Spray
1x key holder, also containing spare handcuff key
1x Glove / bare necessity first aid pouch
Then my radio etc is kept on my body armour
You should carry a tourniquet, maybe take off the keys and the pouch for the latex. You could put the latex in your pockets or in/on your carrier. Love the video. Be safe.
My tourniquet now lives in my vest. Glad you enjoyed! (:
New Subscriber. You have such a cool channel. I think everyone is super curious about what it's actual like being a police officer. All we know is what we see in movies and on TV. This channel is so interesting I have so many questions! Fyi you're so pretty.
Thanks for your service and keeping us safe
Thank you for the support!
Check out the Olight Warrior X flashlight you won't be disappointed also you need a weapon light stay safe💜
Thank you!!
¿una pregunta para acceder al cuerpo de policía tuviste las mismas pruebas físicas que tus compañeros hombres??
Little constructive criticism. Giving you the benefit of the doubt because I don’t know what’s on your vest, but one of the biggest things I don’t see is a Tourniquet on your belt!!! That’s a big thing that can save your or your fellow officers. You Should honestly have one on your belt & vest. Two, your flashlight holder on your belt needs to be replaced with a holder that snaps. You get into a fight or tussle that will fall out. You might carry one on your vest, but you should always carry two lights in case one goes dead Especially because you don’t have a weapon light.
