    Out of all of the great online tutors of all things Photoshop on TH-cam, I really love your tutorials the most. You never speak too fast or gloss over/skip important details by assuming we know every step by cutting those important steps out (like some tutors do). Your videos are so comprehensive, so well-illustrated, so articulate, so thorough and detailed. I have learned so many aspects of this incredible program via your very well-paced lessons because they are so perfectly outlined and easy to grasp and I often refer back to them when I need to refresh. They're like little mini college courses. Thank you so much for offering these tutorials. They're invaluable and you are a fantastic teacher.❤

    thank you , my question today is there a difference between using filters like as level or curve and camera raw adjustment

    • @PhotoshopTrainingChannel
      @PhotoshopTrainingChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well, Levels and Curves are similar in what they do. They differ mainly in how they do it. While Camera Raw has way more control over color and tonality. It even has the curves panel within it.

    Great video Jesus....i was wondering how would this work if you had a more complicated background?. Also can you turn the background b&W while keeping the foreground color?.

    • @PhotoshopTrainingChannel
      @PhotoshopTrainingChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      A complicated background is no different in terms of the initial steps. When masking you might have to disregard certain areas if there is not much contrast between foreground and background. Or you may have to paint them in by hand. But the process would be about the same. Of course, you will have specific adjustments to your particular image.
      You can apply the black and white adjustment to the background layer to make it B&W and keep the foreground in color.

  • @FlorenceRobbiano
    @FlorenceRobbiano ปีที่แล้ว

    It looks amazing. However, even though I have Photoshop last version, in the quick action, I only have : Image Size, Trim, Crop or Rotate but not remove background. Even though I have unselected the two pictures underneath because I know that Remove Background only works on one layer.

    • @PhotoshopTrainingChannel
      @PhotoshopTrainingChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lottie, if you have the latest version of Photoshop you should see it when you select a pixel-based layer. Not a Smart Object or Background layer.

  • @romiemiller7876

    If you upload photos to a stock agency, they'll reject anything with any kind of grain, even though you'rre right about adding a little, little being the key word. I think the agencies hire people that don't really know much about photography, and give them a check list to evaluate photos from.

    Another awesome tutorial Sr!!!! Thank you!!! Question... have you seen all these wildlife pics where people do this interesting thing with color filters in the background layers then adding another color filter to the front layer...? in other words part of the process is like the one in this video, but they add a "dreamy" filter , (more like a composite approach), to the nature/wildlife pics... do you think you can do a video about that...? (I hope I was clear enough...😂 ) If you want I can send you a couple of examples as DM to your Insta account, ( as long as it is ok with you and you give me the green light off course...) Gracias!!!!!
