Perk Test - Shower Shed Roof - Shower Walls (8)

Almost done with this trip. Shower shed is almost closed in. That’s all I need to do to get it ready so I can go back home for Thanksgiving.
Off grid construction is a challenge when you do t have a proper shop. This shower shed/shop will be a great platform to build a house from. Hopefully we can perk. Otherwise we won’t be able to build.

I had property up in Northern Arizona (Ash Fork). The old timers told me they use to dig holes for their septic tanks with dynamite.

I think that you’re hitting Caliche. Those guys digging should have let you know it’s not a secret.The desert if famous for it. You might consider digging yourself a nice pond and using the soil removed to make an above ground septic and cover it over. If they allow such a thing.
