@@kaisankamal This new iteration looks insanely bad. Like its design was stretched to the corners of a shoebox. Unexplicably ugly. And then you look at the wonder that is the Y62 Patrol...
As a 300 owner I am surprised to see the car avoid hitting a cyclist. In real world driving it is just the opposite. If a cyclist is riding on the left side of the road and you move out right to go around him the LTA (Lane Tracking Assist) senses you moving towards the centre line and dramatically pulls you left back in towards the cyclist than around him/her...bloody dangerous and horrible safety tech that needs a lot of updates.
I still find it annoying that the score of crash preventing systems are interlaced with actual crash test, there should be 2 separate scores so we get a better idea how good each aspect of the car is
The next time you're thinking about a collision against a land cruiser you need to think twice otherwise you will be dead. This car is a lot stronger than i thought it would be. The frontal collision is greet cause you don't see too many parts abd debris flying all over the place...
At least mention the speed of the car while impacting. Also, let us know, that how many cars are used for such safety testing?? And what is done to cars after using them for safety check parameters??
Every other SUV, manufacture when they’re in these tests: oh, no, I have been damaged beyond repair. I’m gonna need new body panels, new suspension, and possibly even framework. Toyota Land Cruiser : jeez there’s a lot of speed bumps on this road.😅
Not a Fan of new LC300 due to GVM and Toyota media hype towing/tourer label. Prado has better payload capacity. But thumbs up on the crash testing, must be one of the safest vehicles in heavy crash. Hopefully this will be same for future Toyota designs, can’t wait for new Prado and Hilux next generation. Like to know how the Next Ranger/Everest stacks up.
i would trade it’s longevity and reliability for a complete redesign at this point - it needs to be updated. they could’ve done what Chrysler and Mercedes have done to the Wrangler and G-class, modernize a classic and iconic design
Well I wouldn't mind tho if they come out with a new design rather than modernizing old school 4x4s. For the 200 series it was going really well. They messed it up for the 300 series. Seems like they haven't done much for their design philosophy. And then these cars aren't worth for that much money. Just look at how those doors get deformed and those windows come flying out due to the impact amidst the oblique side pole. Even many decade old SUVs haven't performed this bad. Such as the LRD3, ford expedition and cadillac escalade. Also it doesn't seem like they have updated their technology over these years (prove me wrong), like what I find is the same decade old technology used in the 200 series. Now none of the trims come with the KDSS option like they it used to be for the 200series, except for the GR sport. Speaking about the drivetrain I don't know what were they thinking by replacing the V8s with TTV6s, if they valued reliability so much. By killing off the V8s they have even destroyed the class these SUVs carried. If I were to choose any recently made land cruiser, it would be the 200 series land cruiser. Otherwise the grand wagoneer is much worth buying.
I have one of these 2022 land cruisers And it was so good have 14 airbags thank you Toyota for the stately for our family
