This is the way an exhaust system should come from the factory. It is loud but have a deep tone due to the h pipe. The fact that it has resonators to prevent drone is the cherry on top. Way better than deleting parts.
Id say the deep tones due to the size of those mufflers lol not the h pipe
@@tommys2979 Also the h-pipe. It produces more of a classic muscle car tone compared to an x-pipe. This is called research and development.
Agree it sounded amazing when he took off. Such a perfect deep rumble.
One of the cleanest sounding idles and takeoffs I've heard on this channel, very clean SRT!
Not a trackhawk, this is an srt8 grand cherokee. Essentially the “scatpack” of cherokees.

nothing better then keeping a jeep original and clean not adding dumb cosmetics to it i love it, exhaust systems are always somewhere good to give topdollar for it because u know its been tested on the model and stuff so it will always sound to perfection and last

@@CorvZ061 I have a 2006 s197 with 190k and I still love it. dd and is so reliable, but not worth much. Probably gunna give it to my boy thay doesn't deserve it! The next would be an 18+ vert S550 with active exhaust, and would be very happy. With that being said, an AWE would be on the books if the car didnt have active. Soooo fucking expensive!!! Turning 50 this year

$2000 for a R&D sound. Worth it, but after spending $80k on a Jeep, $2k is nothing lol

I have the track edition on my Durango SRT. Imho, awe makes the best exhaust for the SRT.
I see the other SRT owners found the Continental DWS 06’s compared to the junk factory Pirelli’s.

Sounds good but hopefully u don't burn out the Transfer case clutches with the different tires. Those AWD systems are so sensitive.
What tires are different?
@Midwest Motor the DWSs in the back and the Goodyears in the front. That AWD system don't like mixed setups. It likes all 4 tires being the same size n manufacturer. Look it up.
@@michaelscott7706 DAMN! You must be a tire-lover! LOL! I finally had to force myself to just look at the tires and can see the tread is different with the famous DWS pattern in the rear and the GY in front. OK, so now next question - what makes you think they're different size?

@Midwest Motor look at car wizards video on TH-cam about the Chrysler AWD system. I have a Durango that I bought used. The previous owner had put Westlake tires on with the Goodyear forteras. About a year after I bought the car my Transfer case started clicking. Sure enough the clutches were burnt. Luckily my warranty covered the repair and the Chrysler tech said that it was the different tire manufacturer. They might be the same size on paper but they are made completely different.

Iam putting my trucks back stock the Durango and the jeep don’t want them stupid loud no more sticks out more than I want and the all ready stick out lol gotta keep it semi quite honestly sounds best factory just put in track mode an it definitely gets louder u don’t want the db over 109 anything more is to loud and raspy

Chrysler is really gonna regret getting rid of their V8 HEMIs for the already drastically failing electric car scam. People bought their shit strictly because they were the few things to still have V8s. Now look at them.
They don’t come with a 6.4 the highest is 6.2 for the srt jeep I have one mines a 6.2 the jeep trackhawk is a 6.4
