- Russian forces have been reported to be withdrawing from the Vovchansk oblast, with the overall number of combat forces decreasing in the past 24 hours in noticeable numbers. Russian forces in this direction have been defeated on the battlefield. Meanwhile Israel is continuing to threaten an invasion of Southern Lebanon, it appears an invasion is highly certain at this point. Russian forces still take heavy losses in Avdiivka and Bakhmut, while not gaining any significatn amounts of ground.

Or, as a RTS Gamer, I see this war as a decision to depop russia military. The less troops putin has, the less he has to pay money too and aging tanks, less he has the less maintenance, or least no parts to maintain them so better to have them destroyed. No clue on their economy but sounds like they have money problems.

Great show guys but I gotta critique... You can't judge a huge metro city by how dirty or rough the worst part of it is. That's like judging it soley from only the nicest and cleanest area of town. Both are ridiculous and in no way depict the enjoyment of a city. How nice would y'all's home town look if we judged it based off that family down the street in the run down trailer with a junkyard outside that constantly steals and does drugs all day long? FWIW I'm from SW Louisiana so I know a thing or two about Alabama although I am an urbanite these days. Cities are nuanced. Tell your friends.

The EU will do what it’s always done in the past and massively bend the rules to expand the EU and let Ukraine in. So Ukraine will join, but the EU bent it’s own rules to let Germany in back in the day. The EU is a political project, and the EU Commission will ignore its own rules.

It's very close to the border, so building fortified areas would have been in range of artillery and air bombardment.

Russians don't seem to have this problem as they literally do this everytime they gain any ground... They fortify all the gains they make while Ukraine has spent little effort in building fortifications ..
They should have built fortifications he long before Russia invaded. Everyone knew Russia was going to invade Ukraine a good 3-5 years before they did.
If you look at the equipment destroyed by Ukraine when in use building Ruscist fortifications, you'll quadruple that if you try to build your own defence lines. On the Belarus border the Ukraine forces can work without bombardment. But looking at the very small area that the orcs have managed to take is very limited. Yes lots of destruction, but little ground. No said ground is being taken back. With massive orc losses.

The russians needed far more than 80k troops to encircle, or even seriously threaten, the city of Kharkiv. Based on past russian performances at places like Sievrodonetsk, Bakhmut and Avdiivka, the russians would have needed half a million or more troops.
The facility at Yeysk that was hit was to the west of the main airfield, it was a SAM training center, which had recently received Tor-systems...
