I'm looking forward to this game a lot. I think it will be like the binding of Isaac in the fact that I'll chip away at it over a long period of time until I reach the center of the universe rather than just playing it non stop until I get to that point

Same here, my dad never showed any interest in my hobbies like gaming, says they're pointless and.that he'd"rather live in the real world." He's a bit of a downer tbh. If I ever have kids myself I'd love to spend time getting to know their world.

Sean Murray, you can tell he is just a really down to earth humble guy who seems super nice. Good to see good folks working on a game such as this. Wish this game a lot of success as I have been waiting on this for awhile.

There's all sorts of features like that on the edge of water areas depending on what the terrain is doing.

+Marquis For example there are no sand planets, you can't land on asteroids, no rivers/ponds, 2 players couldn't see each other even though they promised that you could.......
I'm not hating on the game (I actually love it) but you gotta admit that the lies were too much

Depends what your looking for I think. Plus other than gunplay and the procedural planets we haven't seen much (like the upgrade, faction and trading systems for example) so it's hard to judge just yet

No one in the comment section has even mentioned the Music featured in this... This game is getting better as time passes, and can only evolve from there. June 2016 is the perfect date for them to iron everything out to near perfection, and when even a conversation piece makes me giggle like a goddamn japanese school-girl in big part because of the music in the Background... Then we have something special coming to us. It might be kind of a novelty thing due to the game's nature (The shooting isn't exactly Killing Floor-esque), and it might be an acquired taste for those who wish to seriously invest time on this game for what it's worth. But the fact that this game got featured in some of the more sophisticated Tech expos AND in one of the best late night shows ever, it's already in gaming history for sure :) (Also sorry for some shoddy English. I'm Italian :D)

+Willian Gabriel Graphics don't look that revolutionary as every person on the internet might make you think. The FOV is hurting my eyes way to fast. The activities you can do seem limited. So far we've only seen him explore a couple of planets and shoot some robots.
The game looks fun for about a week. I don't see myself playing this for months or weeks sadly.

I take one extended look at any of the videos shown for this and I see a concept that will ware off quickly. I see no construction or any other engaging element apart from what is being paraded around as "go anywhere." Ok, so I fly around, upgrade my star drive, see some eye candy....and?

Half the planets you land on will be useless dust bowls and who cares about collecting materials and naming animals when there's no goal to speak of. This guy is the 2nd coming of peter molyneux, all talk but no substance

+Enveloped Angel there's more to do than just look around, you don't only upgrade your ship but you can also upgrade your multi-tool (weapon) and suit all 3 can be seen as a form of progression towards the games "end game" in the center on the universe. There's also mining minerals, gathering artifacts and crafting (complete with it's own periodic table based of the real life one).
if you want more excitement you can go around killing off species and pissing off the space police which have a GTA style wanted level, every species you kill will mean no one will ever get to see that species except you. You can also engage is space dogfights, in which you can have wing-men and attack larger ships.
You can trade resources and upload discoveries in order to get in-game credits.
so yeah plenty to do considering the size of the game.

In every interview and media appearance, Sean Murray (Hello Games) looks radiantly happy. You can tell that he is extremely passionate about this game, and, if the game is a reflection of this passion, I can't wait to play it and fall in love with it like Smiling Sean already has.

TheGamingBone If you watched every NMS video, then you would know that there IS in fact online multiplayer, just not the traditional way, since it's so rare to bumb into another player, so it would actually feel like you're playing solo, but not really...

Only complaint I have is that the space combat has been scaled back. The battles aren't as big as they were in the trailers. Hopefully this will be updated in the near future.

this game will truly shine with age. I say that as in hello games will continue to add updates to this game after its released. like minecraft with monthly updates. but if you truly want a unique experience. Play it on the Pc, modding community will go nuts over this game.

I'm glad so many people hate the game. More for us who actually waited their lives for this game. Leave the gameplay to those who actually want to play it. I've loved it more and more since it was announced in 2013. I don't think this game needs any more features added it is already so sick looking.
