Took alot of guts to admit everything and its took alot more to keep on doing what you do to make these videos. Alot of the people on here im sure you dont really know only through youtube you could of got alot of stick. Them Koi are stunning. And your pond is amazing. Are you not worried if they jump out ? I would have a et of some sort over the top or some glass or plastic toppers around the pond. I'd be so scared if one jumped out . Your set up is epic 🐠🐟🐠🐟
Thanks mate tbh they only jump if there is a problem and I am on it but not saying it will never happy just the benefits with out nets over the pond is so much more but it is a risk I take not going to lie

Gambling is disgusting, my father lost everything because of it incuding his family. The companies have a lot to answer for but just like social media companies they will never have to answer for their brainwashing manipulation.

I once emailed one of the gambling sites after a big loss I I had a email back saying you would not of complained if you had won
I lost 16k in one hour money that was not even mine loaned from a bank 🏦 I played the slot machine and roulette trying to get money back I lost and I couldn’t stop at the time
I was under the influence of drink and drugs at the time, and I was not in control of myself
Makes me feel sick
There was no stops to say are your shore you want to place the bet or take a break for a hour to think about it ect
Just took all my money with in the hour and I don’t think it’s right as back then I didn’t no I was a addicted and I couldn’t stop as my brain was telling me to keep going

Respect big man , my dad was an alchoholic he died but at younger age i didnt realy notice he had problom until he died then started putting 2 and 2 together we played football i had juice he had 2 cans stones , i dont drink at all nor smoke but thata not why just dont ebjoy it , least you spotted your problem before you went to far and left your loved 1s with a big hole in there lives , top man

Good tip on purging the system by the way as well. I actually have purge valves, but then you have to replace the missing water, which sometimes takes time i don't have, so I'll give your way a go👌🏼🔨

You need a Ryobi telescopic scrubber cleans it in seconds fully waterproof won't damage your glass or silicone or fibreglass great piece of kit

It’s not to bad tbh as pumps are not useing much watts and drum only uses when cleaning

It’s just a fish tank one (Flote) is the make but it is not really man enough for the job thinking on new ideas for that this year

Tbh it don’t really make much noise and the sound of water is realy cute quality as I have my shower filters so low to the pond

Great to see you back James. Question regarding your tank and refilling water coming from your tap.
How do you regulate the temperature so it doesn't shock your fish?
I've never worried with matching temps with the pond but always do with my tank water changes
I think with bigger tanks and a very slow water top up I don’t find it changes the temperature to much
But I only do the 10% mark
It’s definitely something to be concerned about with smaller tanks and different types of fish I think
Possibly I should have mentioned that in the video?
I do have a 500w heater on my tank what also helps me out I think 🤔

I still use the bucket method with a home made syphon similar to your fancy tap one lol. 2 fancy goldfish in 180ltr 4ft long tank and no heater. I take a lot more than 10% out once a week/fortnight, usually 30-40% and like to fill it back up quite quick and clean up before the Mrs gets back from shopping then to go and do my pond so I temp match to keep the fish as comfortable as possible. I suppose it's finding what works for each individual. Thanks agian

@@JamesTHEKOIwhisperer123 everyone has there ups and downs in life the main thing is your still here to tell your story, keep fighting. I built my pond at the same time as yourself and copied a lot of things, cheers.
James why do you keep your KH so low at 1.5, I keep mine between 6 and 8 which is the going rate with many folk. Cheers mate.
It all depends where you live mate if I had to keep mine that high I would have to put so much bicarbonate soda in every day as my tap water supply is so low
But there is benefits with a low kh and low ph to much to explain but I will try and explain at some point
But keeping koi is one thing but in true, we only keep water once you get a good understanding of the water and keeping it stable. The koi look after themselves.
But like I say there is no right or wrong mate as long as your fish are happy that’s the main thing
