Wonderful interview with Tim. I was fortunate enough to travel to Japan with the BKKS in 1975 and again in 1976 to meet with a number of koi breeders and hobbyists. At the time the hobby was just starting to take hold in the UK, in a large part thanks to the late Peter Waddington, and basically unheard of in Canada where I live. I also managed to see Peter's pond during my 1975 trip although at the time had no idea how famous he would become in the koi hobby. It's so wonderful that Tim carried on the love for the hobby clearly displayed by his father. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Have been a huge fan of Tim's for as far back,. Like his dad before him, a passion for koi and always happy to share his knowledge. Great first edition Joe,well done and looking forward to the next installment. Fair play Pal 👍
Tim is as supportive of us beginners buying a few tosai here and there as to those buying the top end stuff. I travel down from Scotland to Quality Nishikigoi. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Much better without the music audio. Totally enjoyable to just sit and listen to this conversation and concentrating on what you’re asking and what he’s saying. Thank you Joe to reposting this as I bailed on the last one as I couldn’t hear you & him and now so much more entertaining. Congrats to you for doing this in the first place and more so for listening to the advice of cutting the music. I for one want to hear what each of you have to say. 💯 I wish you best of luck and am looking forward to your next one!!! Great content! 👍
Hi Joe just found your channel you ideas sound great about a magazine that is independent of dealer 👍 and your ideas of putting guys together that would like to swap or sell some of there koi is ideal hope you have great success
great interview. I watch Tim's videos all the time, he clearly is passionate about koi..total pond and koi envy. If I had one issue I found that Tim and Paul werent that bothered about me turning up to buy fish as I could never afford the mid level or top level fish. I found it quite off-putting. It's why I looked elsewhere in the end. LIstening to Tim in the video this might have changed over the last few years. Signed up for the Koi Perspective magazine as well. Good luck for the future.
Re-uploaded with no backing audio! 😉
Tim is 100% genuine bloke, absolutely nothing is too much trouble for him and all his staff.
Agreed!
Awesome interview Joe keep up the good work
Tim always a pleasure to listen to your insights on the koi world
Much appreciated
