THEY FINALLY PUT IN THE WRIST COMMUNICATOR!!! EVERY SINGLE BUZZ FIGURE I'VE OWNED HAS NEVER HAD THE WRIST COMMUNICATOR WHICH SHOULD BE A PART OF EVERY BUZZ FIGURE BECAUSE HOW HARD IS IT TO HAVE A HINGED COVER ON THE LEFT ARM WITH A STICKER!!!?
The Disney Store Buzzes have had it since 2010.
Ben_ToaofFire yeah I have one from ts3 with the communicator, and before then the collection ones had it in 2009
Ofcourse they got the communicator, if they didn't they would be the same like 1995 buzz from thinkway 35-36 yrs ago. And it wasn't til intergalactic buzz they got the communicator done. And that's how it fixed.

You could try sending that buzz to the Disney store for repair of the helmet, it's the same model as the JCPenney Buzz and I genuinely don't think they will notice/care about the new head.

Hey just like the movie buzz
Once again there a lot of things inaccurate about this Buzz. He does have all the features from the movie which is a big + however the head from 218 karate chop buzz lightyear is better than the head from Jc penny Buzz but it’s not toy mode like the eyelids are showing and the movie when buzz is on toy mode he has his eyes all the way open and the eyes aren’t glossy and you know what I’m gonna go ahead and point out the flaws with this Buzz. First of all the helmet is foggy the phrases are okay the wing button sticks out and in the movie his wing is pretty flat and doesn’t stick out the laser light when it lights up is white inaccurate the laser sounds like a machine gun and it’s not supposed to blink even though woody said it’s a blinking light it the light stays still it’s good that it has karate chop action but it’s not the movie accurate button in the movie it’s the purple part of his jet pack but on Jc penny Buzz it’s only the top circle part where as in the movie it’s the entire section and the circle is supposed to be a sticker but on this model it’s molded he doesn’t have ball jointed hands they just move side to side the arms don’t go down far enough and there not accurately articulated his joints are too stiff no ab crunch and his waist is hard plastic not rubber and to shiny and he has a lot of extra screw holes in the back the Jc penny buzz is basically the Disney store Buzz but the normal Disney store Buzz all those are present but but they are all covered with white caps which was a better choice because in the movie he doesn’t have all those extra screws in the back another thing is in the movie Buzz,s wings make sound effects when they pop out this one doesn’t and the wings and on the Jc penny when his wings open the lights only stay for a certain amount of time so if the tips of the wings stop lighting up and you want them to stay lit you got to press the button to turn them back on and the feet only go up and down no side to side move or ankle pivot.
I would like to do this and I’m good at crafts and stuff but I’m afraid that I’d mess up the electronics
Lucas no way! You won’t mess up the electronics at all, if I can do it, you can too! Just be careful with the helmet! Lol
Wow! So much work on this! Awesome results. Just a shame about the helmet. Hey, maybe you could use the spare one to do another custom. Perhaps make a very heavy battle damage repaint. You could use a filer to make dents everywhere and some cool painting tricks like drybrushing and using shoe polish. Look up how to paint battle damaged figures, you can get some really cool results

That would be difficult unfortunately;
The Spanish/english one's screws are covered by plastic caps that are nearly impossible to remove without damaging the figure. That and it's just become hard to find

I have an idea on how you can redo the head swap/fix the wooshing helmet. You can get another Buzz and take the head off/out and instead of unscrewing everything turn the head to the left until it gets loose. My friend @TodayIGrewUp told me/his viewers to do this. Then once it comes off then you can take the other head off and put it on the other Buzz and then the only thing you'd have to change to make Buzz Lightyear accurate is the laser
