Hey Guys, awesome video, you're the best one out there doing this kind of content ! I have a 14 FLHTK and I'm trying to find a rebuild kit with damper rods and the like. I can't find anything, I have never had my forks out that might be part of the problem mine being a Rushmore bike. Can you steer me in the right direction? Thanks a lot !!

absolutely brother. I ride a 1983 gold wing and many of your vids i can use to at least understand the principals of what I'm trying to do, figure out how to adapt your super knowledge to my application...thanks for your great work! I'm now subscribed!!

what did you mean by 11oz for a fork with out a dampener we removed the dampener you lost me on that at the 20:14 mark

@RyanUrlacher this helped a lot! I hit a deer about a year ago and had a local shop do the repairs while I was healing up. NEVER AGAIN. I basically had to redo everything he touched. A plethora of bad work on the front end. This is much easier than I thought. Thanks again Ryan you're a huge help, my man.

I know this is a three year old video, but was I the only person that saw him install that axle cap that is marked OUT, if you watch real close, he installed it backwards. Watching this to help fix my Dad's bike. Thanks for sharing!

Honestly, the progressive monotube fork upgrade was the best upgrade I've done to my bike. Don't even waste your money on a rebuild kit. I have no braking dive, and huge confidence booster on rough roads. Complete game changer, I can't say enough good things about it.

I just put legends axeo fronts and revo on the rear of my 15 street glide special. Night and day difference. No drifting in the corners, until you drag the floorboards lol. The single best investment I've ever made on my bikes over the years. Highly recommend legends suspension

My top cap was leaking several years ago and I didn't have time to address it myself so it went to the Stealership. The guy replaced the top cap oring and he must've used a MASSIVE 21mm wrench to tighten it up. When I decided overhauling them 8 years later I found out exactly how tight he tightened it! I COULDN'T GET IT LOOSE AFTER LOWERING IT AND RE-TIGHTENING THE PINCH BOLT! I tried a heat gun & torch, wouldn't budge and was spinning inside the lower tree. Being out of options I opened up the slot via a chisel enough to allow me to place a piece of sandpaper inside it and then shoved the fork tube back into the lower tree and tightened the piss out of the pinch bolt. THANK GOD it didn't slip and broke free with the aide of a piece of pipe over the wrench which gave me another 2' of leverage that I needed. SUCCESS!!
Thanks for sharing your video, it was very helpful even though I was working on an older Road Glide it was still very helpful! 👍

I would love to see a similar video with an inverted fork such as in the low rider ST. There are no good videos on the market today and the only video has the key aspects skipped, or out of frame on the video. Your videos are always awesome and very handy. Consider covering the newer models of softtails with the inverted front forks.

Just an fyi if you leave the fork on the bike and drop the fork 1/2 below top triple tree that acts as a stop when it pops up then pull out wrench and it pops up again then just loosen clamp and slide fork tube out. I just did this by myself on my 2000 flhrci. Not sure how I am going to put back together by myself but I’ll let ya know
