I go back to setting up our ATARI 2600 for my family. Retired now, so is my PS3, and stepping up to PS4 because our great-grandson wants to share games with me. Not to proud to make sure I do things correctly. Thanks to poster of this video.

Omg thank you so much, I had to unplug my PS4 because of an overheating problem, decided to unplug everything associated with it to try and make it all neat, and I freaked out over trying to make sense out of it when I went to start it up again. Thank you for getting right to the point.

I just bought a used "Pawn Shop Special" PS4. I'm initializing (factory resetting) it.
My younger cousin was letting me have his PS4 while he's at college, but now that the Resident Evil 4 remaster is coming out, he wants his back.

I used an HDMI adapter to accommodate the older TV, hooked up the cords accordingly, but screen only gives me quiet blips and mostly blackness.

I do have a question, though. I have a Steam account and have some games in my Steam Library, so is it possible for me to play any of my Steam games on the PS4? I've searched this up on Google and some people are saying that you can, but I just want to be sure. 🙂

This video is very helpful and amazing but you didn’t mention about the buttons on the control like I don’t know where the “Select” button is. I’m thinking that it’s either the “Share” button or the “Options” button. Other than that thanks for this video!
Are you talking about on the controller? If so, the select button is usually the 'X' 😉 My partner was a lot younger than me and he taught me that before he died (recently). Bless him.

PS4: (+)Most of my friends own a PS4 and it would be great to play multiplayer with them
(-)Doesn't have the games which you could only play on the XB1 like Forza 6 etc. {I'm a hugs fan of racing}
XB1: (+)has all the games which not all the PS4 has...
(-)no friends whom I can play multiplayer with
also, I've heard that the PS4 is slightly better in graphics compared to the XB1 so that may even be a plus point to the PS4.
+Shake Haikel As someone who has both I very rarely find myself using the XB1. The PS4 just has a better user experience, everything is just so much smoother to me. Install times are quicker, downloads are easier to manage, and it's just more user friendly in general. And it is ever so slightly better graphics wise. Just my opinion.
DriveClub, Project Cars (disgard that actually) , Soon Gran Turismo Sport (equivalent of Forza) , Moto GP, NFS 2015, F1 2015 and Soon Asseto Corsa
That's quite a busy list there for racing alone . That's actually about the same quantity as X1 so there is no lack of numbered racing titles

Pretty easy : PS4,.. Has Bloodborne,.. It is also a better machine overall,.. and will have support from every publisher long into generation
+Shake Haikel always buy the console ur friends use! if u buy X1 then want to play some COD or Battlefront with ur friends ur out of luck.. if u don't care about multiplayer then buy the console with ur type of exclusives!

HELP! I CAN'T PLUG IN 3 WIRES!
Just bought my first ps4 completely on my own with the money I earned from my job. I can't use internet though, because "If you are going to use internet, you need to pay for it yourself". Any advice? Should I actually look into an internet plan since my parents don't want me using their internet on videogames? Or is it too expensive? Help! (currently in highschool)

do you need an offical dualshock 4 controller for the ps4?
we bought it as used and the controllers werent included
so we bought some wired controller called "VX4-PS4" and it works on the laptop snd we did update it or atleast tried
because the updating software was weird we didnt know what it meant by showing us the progress but stopping at 100% with "pass"
but that out of the way it doesnt have a ps button... instead it has a Home button so it might be the issue because its for ps4 and windows 10
