Strange mechanic only linked to steve, and if I had to guess it's probably got something to do with his ability to spawn the crafting table while shielding. but I'm just guessing on that part.
He definitely would benefit from a moveset update in the next Smash game. His inhale and especially his Star Bullets (spit) translate really poorly from his home series. No-ability runs of the boss rush mode in Kirby games are common place ong expert players, and it’s a shame that this isn’t reflected in Kirby’s moveset.

We live in a World where people actively forget that for every time a new player gets added to Smash, Kirby gets a new powerup. Kirby's been eating good with every big patch all along.
I do like to press the B button it's my favorite button :) I've done a ton of labbing with every copy ability trying to squeeze out as much use as possible, copy abilities are my favorite thing in this game

I mean, it can be pretty fun to schmoov around, but yeah it's not any better than moving around normally and you end up staling your dodges a little. Especially in that scenario, like why tf are you doing a platform waveland when you could be running up to the Kazuya and going for another hit or baiting out a panic option from him.
@drakejoshofficialyoutubech5569 characters with low grounded move speed and high aerial speed can actually gain a lot of utility of wavelands, helps with a microspacing too. Js lol, it does in fact have real utility
