I was working at FedEx at the time when this happened. It was normally typical day at work with the planes humming & equipment moving around until everything got quiet. I was like what the hell is going on? So I was messing with one of my team leaders about the planes decided to turn around & not bringing any work. He told me that I was right because one the planes crashed into one of the World Trade Center towers. I was like "WHAT?!" I went into the MX (maintenance shack) & they had it on their TV.. I couldn't believe it
I was 11. Sitting in Science in 6th grade. My assistant principal comes in and turns on the TV and said "Something fucked up happened in New York, Bob" to science teacher. As the day went on, it became more clear. Kids started leaving little by little. Think there was 10 of us in my class out of 30 by days end.
