Lost With You | Persepolis AMV

I rewatched Persepolis this year following our full withdrawal from Afghanistan. The story parallels a number of the issues that are reoccurring now as the Taliban takes over. It's a somber watch filled with charm and love, despite the harshness of reality. I highly recommend this film and it's corresponding comic book for those interested in learning more about the Islamic Revolution through a biographical lens.
I've also wanted to finally edit to a Cranberries song. "Lost" really fit the bill and also brings with it another kind of sadness, since this song was on Dolores' final album right before she tragically passed away.
This video commemorates Dolores O'Riordan, as well as all of the lives impacted in the Middle East throughout these conflicts.
