Just heard this song for the first time and it took me a minute to realize how quiet it was. My grandma's usually noisey birds was quiet as hell listening to the song too especially her singing at its peak of the song. Amazing voice!
today... when my wife was preparing to childbirth this song was played on TV in the medical house. and now, when my son was born, I'm sitting alone in the kitchen, drinking cognac in honor of the birth of my son, put this song on repeat, over and over again and crying, really crying. your voice did a lot for me, thank you.

It took me a while, till I read up about the band(singer), to realize that she is a lady. To me it makes the singers abilities even more special. Beautiful, full of character and good range.

This is mine and my husbands song. About a month ago he got really sick and was in a medically induced coma. He’d come in and out of it during my visits to see him. One day he wasn’t coming out of it l, no matter what I said or did. I started singing this song to him.. I stopped singing and with eyes shut he started mumbling where I left off in the song, letting me know he was still there and hearing my voice even though he couldn’t fully wake up. Made me cry and really did my heart good. Thank you for the beautiful music ❤️

Esta canción, o mejor dicho, obra maestra, la escuché por primera vez en 2013, pero no supe cómo se llamaba ni quien la cantaba. Pero recordando el video, tuve que buscar (who's the singer with a boat tattoo on the chest) y aquí, he encontrado la canción. Esta canción que desde que la escuché me envolvió en un sentimiento indescriptible, pero cuya letra me conmovió por porque me identifico.
