    I'm by no means a Lego purist, but 3rd party sets tend to look a bit off in design and colorway. This one on the other hand looks great in both. I went ahead and placed an order, thanks for the discount. I'll let you know how my experience goes.

    Great review. I am not an expert with Legos and cost is a huge issue. I cannot tell any difference between these alternate sets and the lego sets I built. No chance I can pass a blind brick test

    Once upon a time, in a small town, there was a bakery named Pantasy Bricks. It was famous for its delicious and unique bread, cakes, and pastries. People from all over the town would come to taste the bakery's specialties. The bakery was also known for its distinctive brick-like shape, which gave it a unique and memorable appearance.
    One day, a Lego enthusiast named David visited Pantasy Bricks. He was amazed by the bakery's unique shape and the delicious aroma coming from inside. David was also a big fan of Lego sets, so he had an idea. He decided to create a Lego set based on the Pantasy Bricks Bakery.
    David spent months creating a detailed Lego model of the bakery, which included everything from the brick-like exterior to the intricate details inside. He made sure to capture the essence of the bakery, including its warm and welcoming atmosphere and the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked bread.
    Finally, the Lego set was complete, and David decided to present it to the owner of Pantasy Bricks. The owner was thrilled with the Lego set and couldn't believe the attention to detail that had gone into creating it.
    Soon, the Lego set became famous in its own right, with people coming from all over to see it and buy it. Lego enthusiasts and bakery lovers alike were enchanted by the unique and charming design of the Pantasy Bricks Bakery Lego set.
    David's creation had brought the magic of Pantasy Bricks to life in a whole new way. It was a testament to the creativity and ingenuity of Lego enthusiasts everywhere, and a shining example of the power of imagination and the joy of discovery.

    At first glance the retailer you link to as an out of stock alternative is way pricier.
    Though it seems that pantasy (or whoever they're reselling from) has an updated variant of the bakery model with different coloring.
    Looking a little further their payment and processing then refers to aliexpress - so for people looking to press the cost even more consider going closer to the source.

    What would you think of painting your wall from that white/light gray to more like a light blue or even painting like a city skyline. Not all the walls in your basement but at least the wall thats always in the background of your video shoots. Great city, keep up the great work! The wall that’s in back of the Harry Potter castle.

    Hello! If anyone sees this I dont know ANYONE in the LEGO community & I'm very new to building random things for a city I'm putting together which is all currently Mils plated... I am currently building a MOC & its built on a 16x32 baseplate, should I A... mils plate the 16x32 baseplate, or B... just mils plate a 32x32 baseplate and build it on top of that so it fits better in the city?? I just need any sort of suggestion if that makes sense to anyone, thank you so much! ❤❤❤

    • @NewBrickerton
      @NewBrickerton  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personally I'd say build it on a 16x32 baseplate and then find another 16x32 build to fill the empty space!

    Nice set, though personally I have gone down the route of MOC buildings and vehicles rather than 3rd party sets. I've tried some of the copycat stuff but the bricks are not always matching the Lego colours, and of course are lacking that magical 'Lego' logo on the studs. Great vid, anyway, Bro. :)

  • @orien2v2
    @orien2v2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm no purist and entirely open to any design but I'm just concerned about the quality of the brick as I've built many off-brand sets that just somehow couldn't nail that final feel you get with Lego bricks at the end. The way the bricks click together just feels different. And if I look closer the gaps between bricks are inconsistent. It's especially obvious with bricked walls that I've built in the past with these bricks. I can't say for Pantasy products but being over half the price of an official Lego set, and the possibility of not being able to sell it later, it's still a huge leap to take. Enjoyed the video though.
