THANK YOU!!! I have an 86 dolphin too- her name is Tortuga- and my six year old and i LOVE her but she needs work- and I am going to be learning everything I can from what you share!!!
Looking forward to watching your videos. I have a1988 Dolphin which doesn't need quite as much work, but close. I almost sold it but decided if I did that, I'd be selling a little piece of my heart too. Bought it with 40,000 miles, drove it for 15,000 without any problems except that pesky sag in the floor. Well, I fixed it but no without a lot of surprises. Anyway, solar panels are sitting here waiting for me, coat the roof, load it up, and even though not finished, my dogs and are are going to get out of here. YIPPPEEE!
It's kind of funny but you and I started on the same sort of adventure I started mine in 7 months ago. I purchased a 1982 Ford f250 dolphin and have nearly gutted it except the floor was okay so I haven't had to remove that. And the adventure begins!
I’ll have to get back to you on that. What you’re seeing in this video is me fixing the existing setup. The fill hose had an extra 4” that needed to be cut out and the gas fill mouth was hanging out of the side of the rig. Hey, thanks for watching!
i wanna know more about the head blowing, i have a 88 dolph and have seen the exhaust glow red hot at least 3 times and even turned it off which in hindsight is wrong but iron block iron heads just can take extreme heat...seems like it cant die :)
You def killing it with your project...im about to gut mine in a week...will see how many cans of worms I find....not full gut but rear subfloor got the sag...
