I'm happy to see Mascar back. I have 6 of the Pro displays and 4 of the Ultima displays. Love my dust covers that did come with the display! Will be getting more for my garage. Great video, and I love the 16" mounting holes. Best bang for the buck imo
The hobby community is very excited that Mascar is back. The originally owner passed away and his son tried to run the company but struggled. He eventually, after a couple of years, found a buyer hence why Mascar is back. They are great but you can also get a display like a Carney Plastics display (hard, hinged, various sizes) for $100 or so that holds 84-96 cars depending (dividers or no dividers) and the per car cost is less than Mascar. To each his own though. Both are great companies.
Mike, I have 12 of them and used the screw holes and only screwed directly into the drywall with out anchors. They have been up for over 2 years and I have not had a problem with anything getting lose. They are all next to each other and top to bottom. They are a great way to disply the loose cars.
When I found out that Mascar was back in business I reached out to the new owners. I wanted to make sure that the displays were going to be the same. They reassured me that with the original molds, updated machines and lasers that I can expect consistency and the highest quality product every time. So pleased with them!! I’m happy to see someone else shares my love for the displays as well! Great video!
I bought 2 black Mascar displays, about a year ago. I repaced a large picture next to an old desk, that displays a HW Parking Garage and 45+ HW. I stacked the displays on top of each other. I opted out of the dust covers as I rotate the cars, every so often as my collection grows. I just used the screws that came with them, no anchors or studs and they're still tight. Great video 👍
Thanks for the video. I thought Mascar displays went out of business when the owner passed away a few years ago. I have the carded displays on my slanted walls which work great. I highly recommend them.
Once converted to $NZ its actually not bad considering we have hardly anything here for displaying cars. Kmart does a Lego shelf with LED lights for $50: that holds about 20-25 cars. This, in my opinion, is not a bad buy. Looks great too with 60 odd cars Cheers for the video Mike.
I’d been asking for these for a while, I have their display for carded cars and it’s the best display imo, I feel they’re a little bit too expensive but they are good, if they somehow could make them more Afro they’d sell wayyy nore
For all those of you that are confused, these DO come with a dust cover. You can just buy an additional dust cover for $30 if needed. These hold 65 cars it seems like. I dont know if I like the price point but to some it might be worth it.
I use 1'X3" planks from the lumber store and make long shelves. They are wide enough for the Monster Trucks. You can put 2 lanes of Hot Wheels Track side by side on them too so the tires will have something to sit in. It looks really cool too!
Does anyone have tips on how to remove the dust cover once it's on? I can't seem to pull mine off, it feels like I'm going to pull the whole display off the wall.
They are tight... hold the shelf with one hand and then gently pull on the cover with the other hand... I pull a little along the whole top.. little by little..
I’m definitely getting these I like to keep mine in the box. Helpful video Mike🔥 Any tips/info how to keep in track of my Hot Wheels car collection? Like the app like Funko Pops
Also I’m sure you got yours for free can you say they sent them to you but you should add what the prices are for them so we would know maybe next time nice collection also
@whiteknight1001 lol I understand that, but the display with the cover will cost you 59.99 plus 30 for cover +shipping let's say 100$ I live in Los Angeles and trust it ain't cheap lmao but for around 185$ you can get a Carney Acrylic Display that holds 144 cars better quality and more durable
I paid $24.95 each and dust covers were the same price, separately. Direct from the website about a year ago. They didn't offer the clear shelves at that time.

Awesome! Thanks for letting us know how much you like them!
They look great holding the cars.
Very neat
Case is easy on the eyes while holding the cars
Thanks for sharing Mr. Mike 😂👍

Carney Plastics are great, but they can not compare to the blister pack holder of Mascar. That is the absolute #1

Hey Mike @HotWheelsTv, Nice review of the Mascar display case. You have had your granddaughter Paisly be you Go-For. Be well!
I need to get her back on the show!

My son has around 100 of the hot wheels monster trucks. I am searching for ways to store and display them in his room. Any suggestions?

They are tight... hold the shelf with one hand and then gently pull on the cover with the other hand... I pull a little along the whole top.. little by little..
Did you use drill bits to drill new holes or just use the screws to make the new holes?
I used a small bit like 1/16... I was afraid if I just screw into it, it would split.
I just seen your new clear display case but one thing you should have did is show us how you put the snap on dust cover on
I’m definitely getting these I like to keep mine in the box. Helpful video Mike🔥
Any tips/info how to keep in track of my Hot Wheels car collection? Like the app like Funko Pops
I have always used WORD... I don't know of any apps..
@@mikezarnock8318 thanks!
👍😎 video Mike 👍😍👍🏁
Question though... Will Hws push trains fit?
No... they are a bit too big..
Can you meet with Bruce Pascal, who also have a RARE prototype Volkswagen Beachbomb?
Bruce and I are friends... I wrote Bruce's book on the Beach Bomb and his other Prototypes... I don't understand your question?
@seanagulan9481
@@HotWheelsTV Oh, you did already. You manage to see original 16 cars, unpainted? It’s pretty interesting…
I really hope it's 19.99.
Also I’m sure you got yours for free can you say they sent them to you but you should add what the prices are for them so we would know maybe next time nice collection also
That's what I said in the beginning... They sent them to me.
70 bucks!? You can get a hard case with henge door for a hundred.
Yeah and that's not including the $30 dust cover...so to get what Mike shows in the video it's going to cost $200 plus shipping 😳
Oh well. Nice display but at that cost, I'm out. Good luck MD.
@@donaldrowe6047 that doesn't come with it?
Dust cover comes with it.
The cover does come with it. It says so on the website.
No wonder i couldnt find them they were upping their prices literally almost Double the price of what i purchased mine for
The price of everything has gone up.... I'm just wondering where you live that prices haven't increased, cause I'll move there. 😂
The cover comes with the case.... It says on the website..
At $70 per display and $30 per dust cover...umm, no thanks. I can get custom acrylic display cases with a lock for that 🤔
I thought the dust cover was included in the price...
Yeah, the website clearly states that it comes with. They are selling the replacement cover for $30.
I paid $24.95 each and dust covers were the same price, separately. Direct from the website about a year ago. They didn't offer the clear shelves at that time.
too expensive for a piece of plastic.
Neat product. But cost to value isn't even close for me. Pass.
greetings from Portugal
I loved the video
