I did the same thing with my rc era md500e, but analog. Was a lot of fun.

The lineup suggests that the Blackhawk is next. That one should fly with more authority and have a better flight time.
The protocol for these is now available for the Multi Radios. 83 - E120/sub C186. Seems it is also used on the XK K127 so you could also use the Tx from that - the gimbals are much better on that one.
I've just put an analogue aio fpv setup on Rc Era's C186 version of the Eachine C120 and currently test flying it. Will upload some footage onto my channel soon.
Definitely worth the time to do this mod. I managed to wire the aio into the battery terminal on the helicopter so no extra batteries needed.

I agree I’ve been lovin on the eachine line up I have all there little helis eachine quality has improved a lot as well and parts are cheap. Great video 👍👍👍👍👍

Great video and flying JD,i've still got a couple of old helis from back in the day,one from HH which is the CX-2 heli and another one but can't remember the name off hand but it's a military style heli with the bubble canopy,of course they are both coaxial being over 15 years old lol.

Great job, i wanted to do something similar, my only concern is power can you show how you set up power for the air unit. do you need to solder battery leads?
Yeah I just soldered on an XT30 connnector and power with a 2S 300mah battery
