- Today we're getting cracked! We are cracking open a 2020 Silver Proof Set!
This gorgeous Silver Proof Set is only the 2nd year that the Silver coins are .999 Fine Silver instead of 90%!
As we do every year, we are cracking open the 2020 set so we can place some of the coins in complete sets, and the others, well who knows! I'm sure they will find a home!

I just got my 2020 clad proof set today. The silver was sold out.
He said “That’s the one that started it all. The first coin of the year was a bat on the coin, and we know what happened” 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣

I love proof coins. There's nothing super rare about them, like there are millions each year. But the fact that there are so many but that much care is still put into them, unmatched
That Kennedy is a A beauty. I sent my 5 reverse proof Jefferson Nickels off to NGC..
Good luck, these reverse proofs seem to be prone to discoloration. Hope you gave them a good hard eyeing!

They are just beautiful coins... My favorite is definitely the Kennedy it is just gorgeous! I always use to buy these but I always and I mean always took a beating on them! But you got sets going so makes perfect sense!

Gorgeous proof set! I never really cared for proofs up until the last month or two. I’m absolutely obsessed with them now and am striving to do at least a WWII to present set (not counting the no S sets).

What kind of folding holders do you use?
I love that the 5 add up to just a hair over a troy oz. doing mental math with these will be way easier than with 40/90% stuff lol.

I remember the first time I bought a proof coin, I washed my handstand take it out of the capsule... the finger print will for forever be burned in my memory, the ptsd I suffer from the sight of my finger print on the reverse Australian koala
Why did they make the coins from fine silver?
Have you seen the guy who found a tall grass prairie silver proof in a quarter roll?
Have you considered using Air-Tite capsules instead of plastic flips?
Not for these no but I do use airtites for some things yes. :)

How much is this set worth
OUCH, it always hurts to see this done, but I know why it has to happen. Same thing happens if you buy graded proof that were only available in a set.
Asking out of curiosity, what's the point of cracking the proof set? Getting the coins graded? Putting them in a specific album? What have you done with the coins from the past sets you cracked open?
Actually said in he video I needed some for sets. :) So yea the ones I needed for the sets went there and others I gave away.

The fact the fellow youtuber Wrapper Stacker got a Prairie silver proof quarter 2 months ago coin roll hunting is beyond me. Yes, I said that correctly, 2 months ago. Well before they were available to the public.

I believe there only 90% silver.
I'm so mad at the mint
Bought two sets in the nickel and one had oxidation spots
Now they can't fix it because they don't have anymore why would you send it out the door like that
My Proof set the nickel had three deep gouge's
I will never buy from the mint again
They don't have a limited mintage in the sets
You didn't even show the edge of the $1 coin. Disappointing!

I know you are very careful but I cringe when you are SLIDING the coins into the flips. Dust in the flip COULD scratch the finish. But, still, nice. WASH YOUR HANDS
