Bouncing back. My 14 year old son just suffered a season ending baseball injury to his hip. I'm showing him your last few episodes to get him to understand how to put in the time (physically and mentally) to come back stronger. Thanks for the motivation. PTM!
When I need inspiration Josh Bridges never let's me down seeing him go through pain and suffering makes me think anyone can do it...Thank you Josh am watching all your commercials on your videos so they can pay the man 😊
It is really gratifying to know that there are high performance athletes like you who after a knee operation or any type of operation can return to train in such a strong way and at the same time be humble of heart as you are. greeting from Mexico, I'm a big fan of yours.
The most relatable athlete out on TH-cam.. enjoyed watching you struggle for a few reps because it’s realistic and raw ! Great workout. Keep the stache!
So valuable! I’m just now starting to think about doing some real exercise 6 weeks after total hip replacement. Having never gone through anything like this before it’s so helpful seeing how you’re easing back into things. Of course I’ll be scaling things appropriately to fit the recovery of a masters athlete with two years of CrossFit experience who’s simply looking to optimize health and wellness! 👊
I had a pretty nasty knee injury (broken and dislocated patella) and I still hit the gym...albeit seated or laying down for every exercise. These training through injury episodes really brought back some memories of how creative I would get with workouts. Keep getting after it!
I said it once and I'll say it again. Sundays are slowly becoming my favorite day. I am on your training program and recently started doing the military stuff. Would love to do the comp stuff someday but my job (chef) doesn't allow me to. So seeing this on a Sunday really gets me amped for the week to come. Thank you for being a straight up biscuit. *south African slang for awesome*
You Mr Bridges have motivated me and help me workout harder than I’ve ever done man! Watching this series every week boost me for the upcoming week! I just want too say man THANKS! Keep it up man. I’ll always be watching your content! #paytheman
Josh,s recovery cycle is every surgeons dream. I can’t tell you how many people sit around not moving post op. These people inevitably suffer post operative complications that the lack of movement causes. DVT, pulmonary embolism, infection and loss of range or function to name a few. Josh I have truly appreciated your approach to healing, well done .....but hey are we surprised?....NO cuz he pays the man.
You’re the man Josh! Started watching your videos when you started the channel and I’ve seen the best results ever thanks to the mindset I see that you have!! Hope to meet you one day!
Hey brother just wanted to let you know you’re a huge inspiration, just recovered from an inguinal hernia from a bodybuilding/power lifting style of training but you motivated me to start CrossFit. I will be starting my journey shortly after I get my approval from the Doc thanks brother. Time to pay the man!
OOOHHHWWWEEE! Fresh cut, looking sharp my good dude! Keep crushing it man. I went into the box today after some killer back muscle spasms last week... nothing compared to your knee surgery but getting back in their and paying the man is what it's all about.
Love doing switch from time/set to calorie/time great combination Josh! It’s coming brother!! 💪🏻🔥 coming back FITTER, STRONGER, FASTER, BETTER! #payingtheman ❤️
Just finished my emom, liked that as hip flexor/ shoulder warm up. La mesa's nice n cloudy this morning.. perfect for a run. Love it! Keep the videos coming!!
Another great video looks like your healing pretty well... your sunch an inspiration keep it up and hope you and the boys have a great Easter weekend. 🐇😘💖👊
Josh, these two workouts are going on my list! Your buddy looks like Iceman in Top Gun with his 'go faster' sunnies! 😆 loved your stuff from day one. #HighMileageMan 💪
Happy Easter, love the idea of sticking a second movement in between sets, not just as an EMOM. I might look to add in some upper body every time when doing squat or dead's. Keep up the hard work.
Killing it!!! What are the benefits of the Ski Erg? I got my Concept2 for Christmas!!! Its been good to me. I have a bike attached to a trainer and a treadmill. Needless to say the treadmill has played third fiddle to the two lately.
Loving this series! Great content! How about an update with the new La Marzocco espresso machine? From a coffee geek to a another coffee geek 😉 #payhim
Hey Josh, nice videos. At the start of your workouts you stretch, is that not bad for the muscle to stretch it when you're still cold - risk of pulling something? Roller should loosen the tightness but I've always been thought/told to warm up first then light stretch as muscle got some blood flow and loosening. Chrs!
Josh love your videos and love watching you without a shirt, but when it comes to backsquats I always wear a shirt. Just feels better to me. Good luck and happy Easter!
Thanks for the video, Josh. Quick question: in your experience when it comes to strength training, where is the threshold between strength training and conditioning? (For instance, the skier is obviously conditioning and heavy squats are strength. However, where is the threshold between those two). I hope that question makes sense. Thank you for everything!
Love these videos Josh. What's the end game goal? Would you like to make it back to the games? Masters? Sanctioned events in 2020? Great content as always!
Hey JB - started doing cold tubs and it was a miserable and wonderful experience. Life started getting in the way and I noticed myself saying "eh I don't need to do it today" or just wouldn't. How do you stay motivated? I don't think it's the temp deterring me, it's just another thing to do, especially when I have to be awake at 4am some days. I know how beneficial they are for mental strength and some health benefits too, but need to find a way to do it every day. What do you suggest?
I have to ask: what kind of dog do you have? I see her in all your videos & she seems like such a great dog. Thanks for the videos, they have a lot of great content. Keep pushing!
Well I'm currently screwed. I don't know if you remember or not but I had umbilical hernia surgery about a month ago and the surgeon had to go in again this past Thursday. Do you have any advice on how to recover from this?
Bouncing back. My 14 year old son just suffered a season ending baseball injury to his hip. I'm showing him your last few episodes to get him to understand how to put in the time (physically and mentally) to come back stronger. Thanks for the motivation. PTM!

Rogue squat bar holders look weird . Not sure the purpose between that and traditional bar holders.
My favourite workout.
Regionals 17.1
Wearing a weight vest 20/14
1200m Run
Then
12 rounds for time
4 SHSPU
8 C2B pullup
12 air squats
What’s the stretching warm up you used in the beginning??
Was it gowod? I use romwod, works for me! Good luck
I think he covers that same routine, in depth, in a previous video about warmup or mobility.
New haircut 🔥
Whouaou I am really impressed by the draw you have on the skierg. How much is your draw (2500Cal / h)
Do you think is possible to have a crossfit carreer?
Is it better to do box squats post-surgery or full-depth squats?
Well I'm currently screwed. I don't know if you remember or not but I had umbilical hernia surgery about a month ago and the surgeon had to go in again this past Thursday. Do you have any advice on how to recover from this?
