I don’t think Davy is so much comparing Nairobi to Cape Town. I think he’s just jealous of Cape Town. I mean, you get the chance to visit another African country and you see the stark differences in the infrastructure, customs, the behavior of the people; it makes you wonder why such differences, what’s prohibiting your country from being the same or even competing. It really makes you think. Yes, Cape Town was built up during the apartheid era but there are some African countries as nice as Cape Town but Davy’s country is not quite competing. I know it’s breaking his heart. I too, would’ve been heartbroken.
