Barrington Tops, Bowmans Creek, Kia Ora Lookout - Singleton to Gloucester

We did an afternoon ride to Singleton to position ourselves for the (late - wait for the temperature to reach 4°) start of our favourite and highly recommended route to Gloucester.
I love the stretch through Bowman’s Creek and Albano Rd - it’s full of beautiful scenery, steep climbs, assorted gravel and plenty of cow dung.
We then hopped on Hunter Rd and had morning tea at the Gundy General Store before heading out to Toni’s favourite over the Barrington Tops through Tomalla, Poly Fogal, Carters and Curricabark Rds.
Taking the advice from a previous Facebook comment (Peter Pinkerton), we headed into Gloucester via Bowman Farm Rd and the fantastic Kia Ora Lookout, which was a very worthwhile experience.

Did the ride from Scone through Moonan flat and over the Barrington tops forest road for the first time about a month ago. It was very foggy past Gundy and then suddenly I went over a hill and it was a clear and terrific view.
I’ve enjoyed your videos covering this area.

Thanks, we’ve actually been in Gloucester a few times when we’ve changed our mind because the fog (and rain) has been too thick. Glad it cleared for you.

We just did this ride yesterday, exactly as you guys did .
Absolutely one of tbe best days out ... The back fenckess farm rds , Gooragoon, awesome.
Moonan flat pub, excellent.
Barrington Tops rd to Gloucester Gloucester awesome.
All the dirts rd are in excellent excellent condition. We did it on Vstrom and CB500X with pirelli scorpion str tyres,, never an issue.. thank you for the idea

Nice video. I grew up in Scone & it's always good to see videos of the local area. Rouchel by the way is pronounce Rookle. My father was an engineer at Scone Council & did a lot of work on the roads & bridges up that way
