That’s exactly the colour of my FS1E back in 85/6 it was 1977 model; sold for about £100 which is what I paid for it if my memory serves. It was always blowing up though

Had same model as this brought it 41 years ago when I was 15 for £70. Needed some work including outing the pedals back in working order. Saved up from working on the farm at weekends and a paper round and got all the parts off the shelf from midland motorcycle centre in Northampton. Loved the bike and rode it on my 16th birthday used it everyday for two years reg was SUW 136R don't know why I can still remember that?.

Had one exactly like that, UNK 975R, took the pedals off got another fly wheel cover and put pegs on it, like pedaling in first gear

Morning Stuart should of said last night but I'm sure you'll already know but a good conversion for the FS1E was the YB100 engine seemed to be a tool back in the day 🤣😂

What crazy legislation led to forcing people to have pedals on a motorcycle? Just crazy!🤣🤣

@@maybeinterestingtoday7650 WOW, must have been different gearing, I could never do that I had to pedal at a million miles per hour to even make it move it was so low geared. Just pushed it, it was easier 😁
