มุมมอง 2583 ปีที่แล้ว
After 10 years I finally added the pedal parts to my 1977 Yamaha FS1E. This video captured the first time I'd ever pedalled it.

Raleigh Chopper Mk1 Seat cover fitting

This was the first time I've covered a seat, you just need need plenty of time and patience to get it looking nice. I first thought it was the smaller Mk2 version but obviously has to be tight to look nice.

Had one exactly like that, UNK 975R, took the pedals off got another fly wheel cover and put pegs on it, like pedaling in first gear

I know it's 2 years ago but can you remember what size self tappers you used.

Hi, they were probably around 3mm, odd screws I found in a box but with a few washers seemed to do the trick. Cheers

Without the crank installation tool, many times you can just heat the bearing with a heat gun for a few minutes while the crankshaft has been chilling in your freezer for an hour or so. Usually drops right in. 🔧🏁

That’s exactly the colour of my FS1E back in 85/6 it was 1977 model; sold for about £100 which is what I paid for it if my memory serves. It was always blowing up though

What crazy legislation led to forcing people to have pedals on a motorcycle? Just crazy!🤣🤣

Had same model as this brought it 41 years ago when I was 15 for £70. Needed some work including outing the pedals back in working order. Saved up from working on the farm at weekends and a paper round and got all the parts off the shelf from midland motorcycle centre in Northampton. Loved the bike and rode it on my 16th birthday used it everyday for two years reg was SUW 136R don't know why I can still remember that?.

@@maybeinterestingtoday7650 WOW, must have been different gearing, I could never do that I had to pedal at a million miles per hour to even make it move it was so low geared. Just pushed it, it was easier 😁

Hi mate, I’m looking at putting the pedal drive on to my matching FS1E as yours! What bits did you need to buy? Bought mine a couple years ago and a lot seems missing for it.
