At top end but never during accelerations.....
That’s a BMW M2 Competition lol , but in terms of acceleration even a BMW M8 Competition can’t come anywhere close

I bought s1000xr -2017 few weeks ago. Syuperg bike but I dont like the gearing. I have changed rear sprocket from original 45 to 42 teeth. Littlebit slower acceleration but higher top speed and primarelly lowe rpm in 6th gear on motorway. Less nervous and more "mature" behavior.

I have a BMWR1250R, only 136 hp, but it does 0-100 in 3,2s, that is about the max speed limit on British roads. But still it is not about acceleration, they all are good.

I love BMW Bikes And Cars. I really hate that moment when car Passed you while you are doing 240 km/h , I think That Car Must be Doing Speeds of around 270km/h isn't it ?But one Satisfactory thing is That The Car is also a BMW. BMW Rocks Anyway ❤️💚🥰💕🤩😍
an unrestricted M2 Competition could do around 300km/h ;)
Many moons ago I lived and worked in Saudi Arabia. Back then they didn’t give a shit how fast you drove. My friend drove me 450km from Riyadh to Dhahran in 2hrs 15 mins.
We had a total of four stops.
That was in an E34 M5 (1992)
We were cruising at an indicated 270-280 KPH.

Right, I haven't ridden it by myself. Next time I will do ;) But it's not so easy to accelerate as fast as possible. You always have to get used to the clutch, throttle, shifting…..

It was only a M2 Competition, and I guess it was restricted to about 260-270km/h, because with my Super Blackbird I could overtake him :)

Very nice although you could have shifted a fraction earlier to stay in peak power.
it was not me riding this time ;) You're right, you need to have a closer look at the power output graph to see where the best rev for shifting is. Ideally for every single gear. But that's too much effort to me :D

Just Gopro GPS and the frames of the video. I will buy an additional (maybe Qstarz) soon
@@mototop_ yeh! I'm using drag-on unit. It is cheap and reliable. Guy making it in Belarus. But it cannot make so nice graphics in video.

But often some young drivers take a lot of risk as going to fast , and without a 'casque homologué'.
Anyway,
If they don't behave well , it is their problems.
You have to be very careful when driving a motorbike.

1st: it's an advanture bike, of course it has more aerodynamic drag at higher speeds than your CBR600
2nd: the rider of the bike was pretty tall and heavy :D
3rd: in this direction it was contrary wind. In other direction it would have been faster.
4th: have you ever measured your CBR600 with GPS from 0-250?
A cbr 600 with GPS does not do 279, real speed is lower
Official recorded times off a Honda 2019 CBR 1000!!! 0 to 60 3.2, quarter mile 10.7 , 2015 xr 0 to 60 2.8 , quarter mile 10.2 , that's faster than a 2019 1000 honda...your CBR 600 must be some special honda secret project or something or maybe you don't realise it's the same engine as a s1000 r 🤦♂️ btw mine is faster than my mt10 and I own both 😂
