Sometimes I wonder if I'm crazy. But I've always wanted an Aprilia more than a Ducati. Maybe this is because of my love of the old 125 and 250 days in GP.
I can speak from experience Coming off a 1299 Panigale , now on a 18 RF Its lambo vs Ferrari Both great machines Both pros and cons for each Pro on the duck, very light, narrow and carries the speed all the way up. Great cornering Surprisingly comfortable, very long and wide grips Con on the duck, cranky and doesn't like to start in the cold, Horrible mirrors.Hot right thigh Pro on the ape, comfort as well, not quite the duck , little too wide around the legs , feels like my old RC51 Great engine, nice tall gears Great mirrors, great chassis, corners awesome as well Con, a bit to heavy, not quite the top end the 1299 has Its apples and oranges Both awesome machines Its personal prefernce really Both feel very race oriented The ape feels more track ready The duck is more raw, It takes less effort to corner the duck for me than the ape But the taller gears on the ape and higher rev I can hold a constant speed The duck was more cranky about the tires, needed a very race oriented tire on the front always, had the suspension setup which helped The ape has less options for modifying I thought but the overall paint and finish was top notch Do i have any real complaints about either , I say no Amazing machines Great sound on both Feels like you are riding a beast either way Like I say personal opinion And both very reliable I had the duck for 3 seasons And had one brake recall The ape, one season and so far so good I could probably list a million things if I really thought on it But great bikes
Italian bike engines tend to thrive on this kind of riding, they don’t seem to design them with much part throttle use in mind, so they take carbon build up pretty badly.
The way you're capturing onboard is absolutely perfect! I've done a bit myself, and although I think I do a better job than some of the other so called journalists on TH-cam, yours looks way better. Really helps me stroke the Jizz out all over my keyboard.
ESPANYOLO! Gutted the video was over so quick. Excellent riding bud. Fucking hell you've come a long way since those early days of the k8 into London. Loving your work (the both of ya) and looking forward to the next vids. Also ignore these wankers that are going on about the BBB (and all the other vids you apparently *owe* them) lmaoo. People who know.. know that sort of thing takes time. Terrific quality, great vibes, top content. You guys are knocking it out the park! Just wish you had more views!
Man, those V4s. Sound amazing. I don't need that much power on the road (or on track, honestly), but say, a Tuono V4's sound does make a compelling argument...
At 1:31 time marker, how the F*** do you have the balls to be full gas while leaning ! Holy cow I've yet to make some good progress until I could consider being able to do that !! :D
Hey guys, are you still tracking this rsv4? If not what happened to it? I enjoy the videos, you guys squabble like an old married couple at times lol I do take vacations with you (in spirit) whilst watching...I'm across the pond so no real European tours for now anyways. Glad to see someone having fun on track days reviewing bikes, my favorite is the 2017 superleggera keep up with the shenanigans we love it...Cheers mate
Smooth. I think it would be a nice touch to put a picture of the tire after such vid. You know, people could ask a question for tire pressure or just ad this detail to the description. Just an idea. I miss that small info.. Would really appreciate it.
I regret selling my 2017 Aprilia Tuono Factory. But that's what depression does to ya. Makes you do some real stupid ####. Sure the front end was a worry but man the rest was a peach. Great work Baron and great ride. Very entertaining ride to watch🍸
This man is living life. That's for sure.
Yup. Track days, JoJo...
Getting the track all to yourself. That's living the dream.
@@Miata822 Indeed, It's so expensive sometimes though!
@Laith You spelled money wrong.
The baron seems to be getting properly quick
Sometimes I wonder if I'm crazy. But I've always wanted an Aprilia more than a Ducati. Maybe this is because of my love of the old 125 and 250 days in GP.
They look stunning seem rarer and are generally quicker I love then too. Tbh.
It's like Lamborghini and Ferrari, you'll always prefer one over the other, I'm in the Aprillia camp over Ducati too tbh.
Aprilia all the way, v twin and v4 grin ✊🏻😜
I can speak from experience
Coming off a 1299 Panigale , now on a 18 RF
Its lambo vs Ferrari
Both great machines
Both pros and cons for each
Pro on the duck, very light, narrow and carries the speed all the way up. Great cornering
Surprisingly comfortable, very long and wide grips
Con on the duck, cranky and doesn't like to start in the cold, Horrible mirrors.Hot right thigh
Pro on the ape, comfort as well, not quite the duck , little too wide around the legs , feels like my old RC51
Great engine, nice tall gears
Great mirrors, great chassis, corners awesome as well
Con, a bit to heavy, not quite the top end the 1299 has
Its apples and oranges
Both awesome machines
Its personal prefernce really
Both feel very race oriented
The ape feels more track ready
The duck is more raw,
It takes less effort to corner the duck for me than the ape
But the taller gears on the ape and higher rev I can hold a constant speed
The duck was more cranky about the tires, needed a very race oriented tire on the front always, had the suspension setup which helped
The ape has less options for modifying I thought but the overall paint and finish was top notch
Do i have any real complaints about either , I say no
Amazing machines
Great sound on both
Feels like you are riding a beast either way
Like I say personal opinion
And both very reliable
I had the duck for 3 seasons
And had one brake recall
The ape, one season and so far so good
I could probably list a million things if I really thought on it
But great bikes
@@tnelliott2447 Wtf is a duck mate?
That looked way faster than the R1 really looks like you are stepping your game to the next level. Keep it up Baron.
173 on the back straight isn't to be sniffed at either! 🔥
The noise it makes is just delicious 🤘👌
For sale: 2015 RSV4 gently used, never tracked.
Gently used, never been on the road.

Sold.
She flows nice, no other bike hits fast sweepers like an RSV4
Perfect track bike combo and a really good lap.
Oh man, that sounds SO nice!
From a 1.48 to a 1.42!!!! Anythink is possible with enough track time well done man 👏👍🏽
Nice, but what about the bbb?😥
Chris got butthurt after being cock slapped about the forks and Ohlins on his R1.
They canned bbb?

That was impressive, you becoming a seriously fast rider Chris very nice to watch thanks
He certainly is. It's about time Chris got his ACU racing license & pitted himself against some proper competition. 👍
Baron your riding like a pro mate, really mastering your craft there bud. Props 🤙🏻

Man, that roar, that soundtrack! 🌶🔥
Such a technical track, much wow!

Amazing, great sound!
Both video and audio is better than what the MotoGP tv-producers manage. Impressive.
beau circuit, belle machine, pilotage propre...bravo ;))
This guy said he preferred the sound of the R1... now he owns an RSV4 🤔... HAS HE CONVERTED?! 🌝👍
He's been ITALIANIZED!
In all seriousness, maybe and hopefully he does not choose his bikes exclusively by how they sound
It's a fine reason to choose a bike though
@@kaiyao2766 If you've ever ridden an RSV4 with a pipe then you would know that it is 100% a reason to choose this bike haha

wow, this bike is absolutely nuts! And you are as well... oh my lord

Be watching for it!! AND the BBB !!!!!
Best 2.34 of my day!!!
Ahhh, it sounds soooo good!
The very best sound! To me on the grid,💪💪🇬🇧
Nice lap... maybe we should have a monthly Baron’s Bargain Hunt/Hund for cheap fast bikes!
Waiting to see the big high side lol getting very quick now baron the old aprilia yoke seems very very quick & nimble too
Looks good so far
Why do people hit the thumbs down? It's just an on board lap. I don't get it.
At 1:31 time marker, how the F*** do you have the balls to be full gas while leaning ! Holy cow I've yet to make some good progress until I could consider being able to do that !! :D
Combination of sticky tyres, well set up suspension, traction control, and trust in all the aforementioned.
And balls.
yes, please show me more of the beast coming
Must be nice to have a track like that to yourself! Love ya work. 👍👌
Sounds filthy
Living the dream 😩😩👏🏼👏🏼😍😍

Do you guys know when Bridgestone is releasing the RS11? And will you be doing a review on it? Keep up the great work!
That bike sounds so darn good. Send it to me here in Seattle so I can tear up the Interstate.
I assume the track noise regs there are along the lines of 'as long as the birds don't fall dead out of the sky, it's fine' 😁
Track noise regs are stupid, its a track ffs

Nice lap. Now tell Fagan to get that V2 review up!!!
