That is insane, great job. The rope trick and knowing layouts made this such a fast run it's insane. When I saw the time and any % I thought for sure you were clipping through something or somehow 1shotting bosses. I am SOOOO impressed
The Bullet dances so easily between the bullets and cuts through them that he basically owns the Gungeon. This game, with rainbow chests, its ridiculous how op it gets. The fact that Bullet will now be the new meta means there will be a faster time even than this. Its kinda surprising how the meta skewed towards gunslinger there for a while, being that Bullet was clearly the most OP. Bullet is the only character that can give you heavy consistency, in a gungeon that is dice roll generated.
Actually. The game sort of becomes easier due to how hard The Bullet pwns. In the original lore of the game, The Bullet is supposed to be this dimensions Link from legend of Zelda, at the very least, the character is a tribute to Link from zelda games. But the Sword Flash tech, makes Bullet more like Neo from the matrix. So the guy owns the matrix basically.
I love that he did it with The Bullet. Bullet is best character by far, not just because he spawns with Blasphemy, but because you can attack with his dodge roll easier than with the rest of the characters. Also, Blasphemy, hands down best starter weapon, and hot take, best weapon in the game. Sure, it may be B tier on a standard level, but the hidden Sword Flash tech bumps it up to S tier if you ask me, because Bullet is wielding it on top of that. So you can regular slash dodgeroll into things or Sword Flash dodgeroll into stuff. The fact that picking Bullet gives you Blasphemy on spawn is ridiculous. To me Blasphemy is so OP that, honestly, you should get it on floor 2. For real. Its that OP. Still, I love it.
@@lucas_6387 3rd floor bosses are kinda harder than other floors, others floors have "easier" bosses like the pillars (compared to bosses of that same floor) but floor 3 are all equally hard. I can no hit almost every boss except for the high priest (dont play in english, i dont know if thats his name) and the floor 3 bosses (excluding the dragon and past bosses)
Keep unlocking stuff, npcs, guns, items. All those help in the long run. You will beat the 3rd floor eventually. every time you see a new boss, learn it's attack patterns. At least that's how I beat the game.
I would have definitely gone the other way @ gunsmith, that was a super lucky forge. Do you mod for a guaranteed escape rope, if not how many years did you spend resetting
I feel like if you got yari or makeshift cannon on the first floor and than a glitched chest on the second you could get sub 7 minutes easy, maybe even sub 5 minutes
Hey dude, im interested in starting to speedrun etg cuz ive been playing it for a long time and it feels kinda easy but speedruning it might prove a good chappange but i have 1 question if you can please answer. how did you know where the boss rooms were gonna be ? was it just luck or is there some logic to where they appear ?
The maps for this game are not randomly generated, but one of multiple map patterns is selected for each chamber. Therefore, you can determine where the boss room is from the number of passages.
I’d like to admire how terrible of guns you got, excluding the combined rifle all your drops were terrible and you still proved easily that you’re really really good at this game

It’s a glitch, basically slash and then in the middle of slashing switch your direction/aim, it should attack almost the entire screen I think, it also deletes most bullets so it works kinda like a blink too
@@thevortex1904 Yeah, the shortcuts feel like a different gamemode aside from the regular game. You def bring up a great point however, since the shortcuts do belong in the main game. So that would be True any%, and the Any% that is now should actually be "Any% (No Shortcut)"
He holds the WR in basically every category in this game, so i’d say luck doesn’t have too much to do with it tho the fact that he got the rope AND the combine rifle first thing, and he found the boss within 2 rooms every time is a little suspect
@@HauntedHarmonics i don't think he cheated nor do i think he's a bad player, i was just referring to the escape rope that saved him a lot of time which set an unbelievably hard WR that is most probably going to be beaten by another escape rope run. I just think escape rope should be a banned item just because it gives too much of an advantage and it is luck based item to get I'm not saying that that run wasn't unbelievably fast and the performance wasn't impressive And the last think about 2 room boss layout is just a floor generation. I reccomend checking on it since it's a really important tool

By doing this, the weapon will reload without changing its form.

It can deal 2x damage if the swing and sword beam hit the enemy. There’s also this glitch that makes Blasphemy have a mini blank effect.
look up guard flashing, its a bug that makes the blasphemy even more op.
