napalm is so dedicated that it is ridiculous. you know what i want? some people say that good time in gungeon speedrun depends much on luck as well as skill, so can anybody do non-bullet starter only speedrun? i mean, you literally can't pick up anything incliding randomly dropped shields or hearts, can't buy anything either and also no boss rewards, even if they are passive. you can only pick up master rounds because they are the only thing that's not random. would be really interesting to test someone's skill like that.
@@Jukeboksi yeah, but they are not speedruns. they take their time and shit. i understand that what they are doing is quite impressive, but it is no speedrun, let me tell you that. i have never seen anybody carelessly barging into lich fight with starter pistol only and hastly using optimal strats to kill him as soon as possible. i might be asking too much of gungeon players though, because i also can't win the run up until the lich with only starter gun.

@@Jukeboksi no, i have not seen it but i looked it up and it says "step 1: run around circles for 23 days" so i already got the idea what it means. well, gungeon starter only speedrun up until the lich would not be quite 23 days long of course, but it definetely must be at the very least over an hour long if you are rushing through it as fast as possible and 1 hour long fully action packed speedruns under severe time pressure and much increasead difficulty tend to be extremely hard to perform and requires unbelievable amount of patience to not lose your focus for such a long time.
oh i just noticed the synergy with the ammo belt, i think he just used some sort of exploit that maybe has something to do with dropping the gungine while the effect is active
