    Great info I just inherited my nephew's Pitbull I'm worried about clogging up my bathtub giving him a bath any suggestions?

      Yes, buy a hair catcher to put in the tub drain, the Tub Shroom works great, or anything with lots of small holes in it. Good luck!

    Can you and Stella come to my house and teach my dog Sully that the bath is our friend, not our enemy 😩
    (I'm too embarrassed to bring him back to the groomers we were going to since the last time he had diarrhea before they could dry him…and that was after the time he peed on the lady trimming his nails 🤦🏻‍♀️)

      Oh my! I have definitely dealt with that as a groomer! We see these things all the time, don't be embarrassed! You can make sure to take him on a walk and empty his bladder/bowels before the groomer.
      You can also take your pup in when he's not getting anything done, and give him lots of treats so he knows it's a safe place!

    How often you should do this, specially brushing teeth?

    • @whitneysgrooming
      @whitneysgrooming  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ideally every day, but even I don't always have time for that. I'd say as often as you can. Every other day to once a week at least!

    What is your tip for new pet owners for grooming?

    • @whitneysgrooming
      @whitneysgrooming  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That depends on what breed or mix of breeds your dog is. Some dogs need brushing and combing daily, others only once a week. Short haired dogs like Stella here only need it once a month. Talk with a reputable groomer in your area to assess your dog's needs.
