Great video! Your high blood will not affect your much in the Gambia, just get sun around midday and you will be OK. Also if you can perform little exercises, during weekends, go to the beaches and do some exercise. I'm a Gambian in the diaspora but honestly I'm stressed and fed up with struggles and bills. I'm not used to this type of bills in the Gambia. I will be going back very soon.

The best way to rid high blood pressure is to eat clean. Meaning , wean yourself from dead flesh "meat". Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.. when you leave the UK, grow your own food.

Thank you very much, that was good to know just in case.
I plan on being in the best health possible before arriving though. Moringa tea takes care of the high blood pressure. Though I don't have it, until I see this particular np that doesn't know squat. I do have (not claiming it though) diabetes. Which I manage myself. My A1C was 11+ and she np wanted to put me on 4 meds. I was only taking R insulin at the time. I declined her offer and said I'll get it down myself. 3 months later it was down to 9. I know what to do. Mainly rid stress and I cut out bread/sweets.
I'm a herbalist, I prefer natural herbs and ppl. Stay away from fake foods and ppl. We all will live long and happy. When I'm not hungry I inhale/eat the sunlight and I'm full for 2 days.

Well done Sis, I’m actually watching so many videos on getting down blood pressure so conflicting. I have Moringa trees in my garden in Gambia and Soursap trees and the leafs are meant to amazing also. Maybe you could send me some info on natural herbs and I can find out if they grow in Gambia (let the people know natural herbs are plentiful in Gambia)

YES I heard about the free growing trees in Gambia. I can live off the fruit trees and shrubs etcetera is my medicine. God Source and the ancestors are so loving and compassionate. Gave us all we need at our fingertips. That's why hard to believe the acceptance of outside world medicines. That should've been a big clue to the intent they had upon us.
I digress, but looking forward upon my arrival.

Is oncology care available in The Gambia? There are many of us in the west living with cancer, which requires continual maintenance to keep cancer at bay.

The thing is if you are black and have HBP, Africa is the best place for you. My mom used to be on meds that cost her 300$/month for HBP pills until she found a cardiologist who had retired there and dropped her med pills to 30$ a month and the right meds. Ever since the entire family gets our dental works done that and all other tests. The thing is some Western Dr will work there a few month and go back to Europe or America for the rest of the year so If you can find one, you are set. Not to say that we don't have great doctors.

The hospitals seem to be pretty good but to answer any questions on specific conditions your better off speaking with the hospitals direct. Their details are in the description box.

Momo, I was about to ask this question too. I contacted Medicare about a week ago. The Dr I spoke with said they had adrenaline as well as steroids in the event of anaphylaxis. I am also liaising with the Gambian High Commision in London (where I am based) to check whether any hospitals in Gambia would be equipped to handle severe allergies in a child. They can check with their Ministry of Health. It also helps to make personal contact with hospitals in Gambia. I hope this is some help.

The cost of health care any be anything from £10 to see the doctor to £20 for blood test all the way to thousands for an operation it’s hard to give prices on everything so I left it out

they allowed you in to watch surgery? can't say how many things are problematic about that scene. at the very least, i hope they got written permission from the patient to be filmed. otherwise, i guess they don't have patient rights/privacy laws.
