- I wanted to check out eBay's new sneaker authentication service so I bought a bunch of sneakers to find out if it's any good! In today's video I try to find the best sneaker on eBay for $200 and get it authenticated by eBay!

Lol it’ll only make reselling more prominent. The prices determined by supply and demand. Call up Nike and Travis Scott if you want your pairs to be cheaper.

All depends. I see a lot of stuff over priced but I've gotten many good steals as well.
Stock X prices you need to add at least 40-50 dollars in fees to get real price

The authentication thing is cool. Also remember that eBay has buyer’s protection for fake product. That has been a thing with eBay for a while.

Thanks for this video! I was super curious as well. This makes me feel a lot safer buying from sellers who don’t have THOUsands of reviews or like 99.9% feedback. another plus is that you don’t always have to pay the shipping and processing fees that stockx and goat have
I really hope they get rid of that eBay tape because it might be like Nike where people target the packages since they know valuable shoes are inside. I’ve had way to many stolen SNKRS app sneakers.

Would’ve liked to see a vintage or an older Jordan retro purchased in a conditional state. Would’ve liked to see how eBay handled them during authenticity check and see if it came back as shown on the original listing. I heard once the shoes are purchased, eBay cuts communication between the buyer and seller?

Same man, eBay since '06 and only recently started buying shoes this year (Yeezys). The authentication is the reason I went to eBay for resale. I like kicks but don't get into the waiting and lottery thing. First pair I got were the Cloud White 350s and they were ✅
Plenty of legit sellers (that's the key) over the last 15 years. Bought everything from new game systems, to trading cards, athletic apparel, and more.
I felt like this vid was hella good. Like the intro felt different, more genuine, and had higher quality edits.

I’ve bought about 4 pairs of shoes from eBay recently (all over $300 except 1) great deals and delivery have been ridiculously fast
Shiid I've literally bought and sold hundreds of sneakers on ebay, only got burned once (metallic 5s) and that was before I knew fakes were a thing (early 2000s)

been using Ebay for sneakers for years. It's great for vintage stuff that people don't appreciate enough but it's not great for hype shit. I've never been duped with a fake ever.

I was never worried about ebay. Locally its hard to find a store with size 14 and 15 shoes for me. China dont even bother making fakes past size 13 so that is another plus for me.

In my opinion eBay is only good for used kicks, most ds stuff is more money than stockx or the same as stockx after the fees, but with stockx you get a safer authentication service. I’ve gotten some killer deals on used kicks though!

Not if you buy bigger sizes, lot of drops go for around $200 and you can make a deal for less sometimes

I live in a country where there are copies of copies.
The only authentic shoes I got were from my visit to KSA with limited colour ways.
No way to tell if I'm holding an original or a copy.

How do you check which sneakers from EBay go through the eBay authentication?? Do you have to pay extra for that service? I’m from the UK and can’t find the blue verification tick on listings.....

Will the eBay sticker peel off easily? The box holds value, I would not be happy if eBay slapped a sticker on my collectible.
With the authentic check and paypal protection there's no reason to worry about 0 feedback sellers. Worst case is you're out of the money for 1-2 weeks.

Been buying and selling on ebay since maybe 2003. And gym shoes have been a big part of it. I only buy from established sellers with positive feedback. Are there some turds? Hell yeah. I've had issues with fakes. 5 times to be exact. But I have had hundreds (literally) of pleasant transactions. I've bought, new, shoes, brand new older releases and even slightly used shoes. I choose ebay over stockx and goat. And if there is ever a problem paypal is there to back you up. Ebay is the way to go. But don't ever buy from sellers with little to no feedback or sellers with negative feedback. Read reviews. And ask questions.
I definitely am going to try to sell my sneakers on here again.

I am from India and I loveee sneakers. We unfortunately do not easily get all the sneakers here without paying a hefty price for that. I recently got to fulfill two of my dream shoes, Ultraboost 19 and Human Race NMDs. I still dream and want to own a pair of yeezys but its too damn costly here. I wish I could've got those yeezys for that price. :(

I bought a pair of the jordan 11 jubilees through eBay, but they’ve been at Sneaker Con for authentication since the 23rd of November, purchased on the 13th. Some Yeezy 350s I bought two days after those arrived a week ago 🤷♂️🤦♂️ hope they turn up, but not a great first purchase with this new way of buying.
Update 12/12: still haven’t received them....

I bought probably over a hundred pairs over the years on ebay and I'm talking since the early 2000's as well, never got a single fake. The secret is in the sauce, do business with 100% feedback only and make sure your seller has hundreds or thousands of sale history and you'll never get a fake. On the other hand you almost deserve it when you buy from someone with 0 feedback and the account is 1 month old or located in a sketchy country.
Copped a pair of fragment 3’s on EBay for $200 straight up, passed authenticity, resold on StockX for $380, all was legit
