    good video overall. Not sure how multiple jams doesn't give the Ethos a serious knock in the reliability department though. That seemed suspect

      @jeffshootsstuff He says he’s not bias but I have to disagree. I think he purposely picked the most expensive gun to try to make his viewers go out and buy it over the others. Who wants a gun that literally jams the most I’ve seen on his shotgun vids and it’s 2300 DOLLARS. Best is a garbage gun for the price. He def is suspect

      If the regular Montefeltro not the ultra Montefeltro came with a raised rib it would be perfect. The regular Montefeltro that holds four in the mag One in the chamber has a flat rib which makes it a little difficult to see down the rib versus a raised rib Benelli needs to change that.

    Great video thanks for putting it out. My only input would be your not giving negative points for reliability( should be -.5 for each failure) With your winner you had the most hang fires or stove tops and if you are out hunting and that happenes it could mean the difference of success and getting skunked.

    • @bradgremillion9996
      @bradgremillion9996 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @bullybbqpit1677 A gun that literally couldn’t shoot from the shoulder and he lets it win how does that make any sense 💀 he only wanted the best to win cause it’s the most expensive gun. Talk about bias and trying to promote the most expensive gun. What a joke. After this video he lost all credibility in my opinion. Now every video I feel he purposely picks certain weapons even if they’re worse.

    I have an Ethos Upland. Love the gun! Your crazy man, but know your stuff. I have already purchased Carlson extended choke tubes for it, the Axil GS Extreme ear buds, started shooting clays at the range every week, and bought all the latest Otis cleaning products you have used on the channel. Came into the new generation of cleaning, the straight rods have been tossed. The Ethos is a machine at the range, adding the Carlson choke tubes have improved my shooting incredibly. Going to Kansas after thanksgiving to test it on some birds. Thinking about getting the 20 gauge 828U for quail in Arizona. Your review really perked my interest. So much so, I called Reeds and they gave me a really good price on it. Brown, in the gun department had nothing but positive feedback about you. Keep it up, love your channel!

    • @bradgremillion9996
      @bradgremillion9996 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @russellsmith2196 Because he’s bias and wanted the most expensive gun to win he made it so obvious. The gun couldn’t even shoot from the shoulder and it’s a 2300$ gun. Walked into the LGS and they have a brand new super vinci on the wall. 2 actually and I can't quit drooling over the way it handles. Here the m2 is 1300, super vinci $1500 and SBE 3 is 1800. Montefeltro is by far the best of rhe lot. You are biased against it because it is the oldest model of the four , the cheapest one and it has wood and not camo or plastic which is something you consider boring. Montefeltro my friend is the quintessential Benelli, an absolute beast reliability wise and a classic beauty .

I prefer it over my SBE3 by a good bit. In my opinion (and many others as well) the SX4 is the best shotgun for the money. Reliable, soft shooting, great trigger and most importantly I shoot it great. The 940 has caught my attention as well. It appears it has a-lot if the attributes that make the SX4 popular.

    I’ve had two Montes. One 12 ga and one 20 ga. Fantastic guns. I also have the Ethos. One of the best shooting shotguns I’ve ever shot and owned. Mine has never had a failure. Neither has my 20 ga Monte but the 12 ga did drop rounds out of the mag into the receiver when it wasn’t supposed to and it only had one failure to fire but I think it was because I outran the trigger once. There is a reason the Ethos costs so much. It’s worth it. I don’t know what happened to the one you had here but I’ve shot well over 10K rounds through mine. And it’s so easy to clean. You’re just basically wiping it down and running a snake through the barrel a couple of times. It’s that easy. Never had to scrub any part of the Ethos.

    Hey Steve, I absolutely love and am very appreciative of what you do for the shooting community and I'm hoping you can shed some light on a topic regarding the negative poi of the Benelli SBE; in regard to shooting high and left, how does that happen if the gun is properly fitted and the shooter has proper alignment? I don't have this particular gun but have shot multiple shotguns and centerfires fairly well. In the military, I was qualified and held several marksmanship ribbons from .38 revolver through the 50 cal. Now to my question, if all the fundamentals are followed consistently, why would any new and properly functioning shotgun shoot anywhere other than where the shooter is focused on the target? Thanks!

    I own 3 Benelli shotguns. A SBE in 12 gauge; a Vinci in 12 gauge and a M2 in 20 gauge. The SBE and Vinci are my waterfowl guns - the M2 is my quail and dove gun. I would rank the Vinci as #1, the M2 as #2 and the SBE as #3. The Vinci has never failed, not once. I have dropped it in the duck pond, poured the water out and continued to shoot it without any issue. It is easy to clean and points very well. I like the M2 but it has been sent back to Benelli 3 times for problems. It appears to be made a little cheaply. The SBE is heavy, the ability to shoot 3.5 in shells is of little value in most hunting situations, and occasionally fails to cycle shells for no readily apparent reason.

    I have an old M1S90 that works for me. I have not shot my M4 entry. My most used is my old Ithica 37.

    I have a pair of Benelli legacies which are the precursor to the Ethos, 12 and 20 gauge and an M2 20 gauge for ducks and turkeys. They’re all great performers. I never saw the point of the SBEs.

    Great Video. I own a Montrefeltro which my son's shoot regurlarly and loves. I was shooting the Ethos sport which is basically same as the BEST with the exception of having the AA wood and polished receiver. In addition it has the new progressive recoil pad which i have found outstanding and even my wife likes the lower recoil for a 12G. Hence my wife has semi adopted leaving me with my JEG special edition Beretta 687 SP3 Sport O/U which is just awesome...
