scale degrees 5-1-2-7 is really one of Bach's favorite openers together with the 5-6-5 in the minor mode, I could think of right now two more examples with the same opener as the oboe 5-1-2-7 openers, bwv 1 and the first aria of bwv 42
Une version dynamique, enlevée, limpide, parfaite ... l'admirable duetto précédant le bref choral de clôture n'est pas sans évoquer le "Christe eleison" de la Messe en Si mineur (B-moll).
Never heard the choral tune in the bass part before as it is in the first chorus. This is lovely. I love all the weird and wonderful chromatic notes too. Many thanks for the upload.

Thanks for video. I am amazed that the recordings of the Bach College are so rarely recognized here in TH-cam
Thanks for having put the score !

Look at the opening chorus from 'Nun komm der heiden Heiland' BWV 62. In the beginning, choral tune is in Basso continuo.
