Thank God that you are feeling better. Do you ever miss your red locs? I am living the Red life right now, and loving it...except when I find that color on the collar of almost EVERY SHIRT I OWN. What made the choice to go back to black easier?
When starting my locs, you were my inspiration. Your tutorials were most helpful in my journey. I started in 2015 with 2strand twist. They were really really short. Now my hair is about at mid back. Thank you.
You and Dxlyn channel are the only two channels that I watch for loc advise. I watched all your videos three years ago before I started my journey . My hair is flourishing thanks to you and the above mentioned channels. Y’all really helped and motivated me. I really hope that by now you’ve gotten over your flu/cold and wish you all the best in your future endeavors ! Happy New Year sis
I use same retwist method... i section mines and tie w a holder to stretch the swirlies out... has worked for me too. Thanks as always for continuing to share less is always better👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Beautiful sister, Your Locs are tremendous so congratulations for reaching Mastery level with that. 🎉🌺 question: Dove products have some very toxic ingredients and wondering if you can recommend something else you would use as a replacement. - a caring fan Also I love the herbal spritz product!
Hello I just started watching you I love how you take your time and show us how you take good care of your hair and can you tell me what herbs you us on your hair
Hi, Keisha! Your locs are beautiful and very well maintained. On that note, I'd like to ask a question: what is your opinion on retwisting locs using flaxseed gel? Have you tried it? What are your thoughts? Thanks a lot for your inspiring videos, keep them coming!
My hair got long to the point I could not retwist myself and knew no one who knew how.. as a result my locs began to fall out.. and I just cut them off 😐 wearing a fro now thinking too start over..oh yeah I had dregs.
I absolutely love your hair. I have been growing mine for nearly 20 years now and they don't look as healthy as yours. What hair oil would you recommend?
Hey keisha glad you are feeling much better🙏🏾 Ooooopps Happy New Year sweetie 👸🏾 For some reason the cinnamon method doesn't work for me 😔 maybe because mine are thinner and have no weight on their own, gonna keep trying a ting though x ps love the ending, your cheeky grin makes me smile. Keep keeping on 🧚🏿♀️
I was sick the end of 2019 as well. I'm convinced I had corona because I was back and forth to the doctor trying to figure out why I had so much trouble breathing and they never did find anything.
I never started my locks with neat parts but now that its growing I need recommendations to keep neat and not frizzly, which products should I use and do they sell on amazon?
I didn’t have neat parts and have eczema in my scalp which I learned after my first round of dreads years ago. I have frizzy 4a/4c mixture so I find using .5 crochet hooks on stubborn spots effective. I just let them grow out a bit, retwisted with about 2 inch regrowth, had to use two mirrors (in the beginning my sister helped) and gently released individual hairs (so they dont break at the root) where I needed to fix messy parts in the front. I split some parts where two dreads could be made so I have a few little baby locks along side the mature one. I use the interlock method right now as I need to train these new parts but I dont use many products, almond + shea butter shampoo (suave professionals), and products from Locksanity (black owned) as well as dollylocks and a leave in árgan oil conditioner (creme of nature) for on the go moisturizer. I stick to as much oils as possible to keep from striping my scalp and ACV rinses every 3 months or so for mold, dirt and lint that’s imbedded! Been seeing lots of fast regrowth since really focusing on moisture, will also try the products mentioned in this video too as I’m oil focused
@@rookholgado thanks alot my hair is about a little over my shoulders and thank God there are no scalp issues or else heaven would have to help .definitely😊, however the oils I can look at since I have not been using a whole lot..all I've used is olive oils. Thanks
Proof that you can self maintain, dye, etc and still grow healthy locs.... beautiful 😍
Kelonna Mitchell thank you 🙏🏾

kizzy mudie if you didn’t start your locs with neat parts, you may need someone professional to retwist with a comb.
