👍 I remember some time ago you mentioned the max input voltage of 30v (300v with 10:1) according to official web page. That's correct. However there is something common to all oscilloscopes. If you check for instance the m4 scope it says clearly on the back max 50v, but you can do primary ignition checks without any problem as the scale goes to 400v. This is a question that I made to a youtuber "welding junkie" and he couldn't answer himself. He got curious and posted a question on verus forum...no answer so far. Also I saw an owon 242s (same as hantek handscope) video where a guy made an injector capture (aprox 70v) without attenuator and no smoke came out. That is also a 35v max scope. Doing a bit of researching I came to the conclusion that we are talking about peak to peak voltage not sinusoidal voltage. Basically (I think) that if we ar talking about milliseconds spikes you can push it to 300-400v, not checking let say 220v or 110v plug voltages. So far I haven't got a definitive answer, the learning is still on.
If you are talking about the Owon HDS242 series handheld scopes, the maximum input voltage is 400v. The Owon is different to the Hantek as the Owon has a larger screen and different but still confusing control layout. So far no issues using on vehicles except in really bright sunlight.
@@colinreid7305 Yes, that's the one. Thegibby is right. On the spec sheet it states the max voltage with a 10:1 attenuator. He pointed the fact that manufacturers are a bit vague. Maybe you put 400v into, then it burns out and then they have the warranty excuse that you didn't read the factory specifications.
Esse osciloscópio é muito ruim, quando dá stop e vamos analisar a imagem com os cursores, a imagem some ou altera a forma de onda. Bugado, atualizei e nada. Não recomendo.

@@coldfinger459sub0 Reasonable battery life. All models should be equipped with the 4 batteries. It’s not a bad unit. For the same money I bought a used Snap On Modis 1st Gen. 10 times the tool.
Thank for showing how easy software is.
Thx for watching 🍻
I would like to know what has changed in the system, if it has any more functions in this new software. some filter in the system.
No real noticeable difference. Filters are available, under acquisition mode. There is a video on the channel regarding this. 🍻

I can't update boot music. What's the WAV file name must be? and I can't connect my unit to PC. Software always says "device disconnected"
I am from Manaus Amazonas Brazil and would like to ask some questions, Can I change the software from T0112C to TO1112D to use the signal emitter?
I don’t believe so. I would think there is some differences on the board equipped with the signal generator. 🍻
Thanks for tutorial!👋
Thx for watching 🍻
Excelente, estou ansioso para receber o meu Hantek aqui no Brasil.
Hope it meets your expectations 🍻
Thanks for this, will try to update👍👍👍
Cheers Steve 👍

In this moment there is new update.
Thx. And thx for watching 🍻
just received my unit. are we downloading both firmware and software versions. new update was of last week for both firmware and software
I dunno how to install the new software. Firmware is straight forward but I am struggling with the software.
i can also install firmware but software wont let me yet.
I will contact Hantek. Perhaps they can shed some light on what I am missing. I am not too swift when it comes to software. 🍻
@@TheGibby3340 im holding off trying to install software. i think its some type of video file. not sure
I sent an Email to Hantek’s tech services. If & when they answer, I will produce a video detailing the software update process. We’ll see…

Bad product. I really don’t recommend it!!!
Honestly, I wouldn’t argue with you. 🍻
👍
Did you buy one Tom? I don’t recall seeing it on your channel.
